廃盤になるらしいと聞いて購入しました。約5×12.3cm、厚みは1.5cmほど、非常にコンパクトなセットです。溶けやすく良く伸び、発色も素晴らしいです。イギリスとの水質の違いなのか、やや溶けづらい色もありました。イエロー、ブルー、ブラウンは似た色が複数ありますので、風景画向きでしょうか。仕切りに入っているクォーターパンは同じものを単色補充する事が出来ない(購入する手段がない)と思われます。1.2cm四方のミニパンが仕切りにぴったり入りました。真ん中の筆収納スペースにも、ミニパン10個がぴったり入ります。マグネットも付きます。既存の色を使い切ったら、マグネットシートを貼ったミニパンに好きな絵の具を詰めて使っても良いと思いました。絵の具自体も良いですが、このパレット自体も素晴らしいです。いつかまた再販されますように。

This is an artist's quality set of 18 quarter pans in a slim palette (2x5) perfect for plein air or watercolor journaling. It also includes a decent #3 travel brush. The legend for the colors is in five languages but is printed on the equivalent of tracing paper and the print is so small I will be making a larger version for me as even with my reading glasses I have trouble reading it. I don't fault Daler Rowney for that because this is, after all, a pocket set of artist's watercolors. The quality of the watercolors is up to Daler Rowney standards. They are every bit as good as Winsor and Newton or other professional watercolor brands.If the discontinued and elusive W&N Bijou box has eluded you, this is the box to buy. It is NOT a toy. It is a professional quality pocket palette ideal for plein air or journaling.This ships from the UK and arrived a lot sooner than amazon predicted. I ordered mine on on April 2 and it arrived on April 13.If you have any questions Jackson's Art Supplies is very quick to reply so five stars to them too.Be aware that it does NOT come with the slip case as pictured in the photo. This is not Jackson's Art Supplies' fault as they have no control of what amazon posts. It is a stock photo from Daler Rowney. I still love my set and will be taking it with me for plein air and journaling.

写生に出かける時は、シュミンケやレンブラントの24色のハーフパンセットを愛用していましたが、それも重く感じる様になり、コンパクトにしたくて12色セットに加色して18色にして使っていました。それでも300g。実際、写生の時(現場で仕上げる訳ではないので)使う絵の具の量は僅かです。ハーフパンでも多過ぎる位。実際にはハーフパンの半分でも余裕です。それを満たすセットを探して、このラウニーに行く着きました。当初は趣味的な贅沢品と思って選択外でしたが、写生用としては一番実用的です。約80g。18色。丈夫な琺瑯仕上げ。ラウニーの3号の携帯筆付き。このパレットと筆を別個に購入すれば(購入は出来無いでしょうが)5000円はするでしょうから、決して高価とは言えないでしょう。持っていて嬉しくなり、何時でもバックに忍ばせて置ける。思い切って買って良かったなと思う一品でした。追記　難点といえば、色の選択がイギリス風景画様で土色系が多過ぎる事と、パレット部分が分割されていない事ですが、色は自分好みに替えていけば良いかなと思いますし、パレット部分も実際に使用してても、不便に感じる事は有りませんでした。小分けにしたければコーティング剤やパテで区切りを作るなどの工夫も楽しみかも知れません。

I received the Rowney paint box in a very timely matter. The box is convenient for travel, the pigments are intense and I enjoy using this watercolour set.
