Firstly, I’d like to mention I’ve tried many different filaments and this black one by far has been the best. The quality is top tier in my opinion, there’s no issues during printing process and no tangles in the nozzle or the design you’re printing. Pricing for the amount is great and sometimes there are deals that are well worth it. The printing process is great but more importantly how the design is while clean it off the branches is also where it matters and I haven’t had any issues especially with this cat skull the nitty parts were easy to clean up. Over all, performance of this color is immaculate and will order more when needed.

When it prints, it prints beautifully. Using a 0.25mm nozzle on my Flashforge Adventurer 5M, I’ve been able to get smooth, detailed prints with minimal stringing and no extrusion issues. Bed adhesion is also solid—sticks right to a heated bed without glue or tape. Filament diameter is spot-on, and I’ve been running it at 220°C with no problem, right in line with Flashforge’s recommended settings. Most prints come out strong, though I’ve seen some delamination—possibly due to thin walls or minor print setting issues. Now, the downside: about 40% of my spools have had mid-roll tangles. That’s a killer. Clean spool winding is crucial, and even though they look tightly wound, a few crossovers mid-print have forced restarts and wasted time. Packaging is excellent (vacuum-sealed with desiccant), and overall, the filament is good if you don’t hit a tangle. At this price point, it’s still competitive—but be ready to babysit your prints if you’re running a long job.

Printed great with my Prusa Core One L, no issues with loading and prints great at default settings for PLA. The color transitions fairly quickly, which makes it ideal for smaller projects (I’d estimate a full color cycle is roughly 80-100 grams - most other brands doing rainbow gradients require 165-200 grams for a full color cycle). In my photos, I’ve included the gradient transition from printing a single 50 gram box and printing a plate of 8 boxes (400 grams). I’ll definitely be trying out more of this brand’s colors!

The red is a bit deeper in comparison to Bambu Maroon. The filament is quite a bit more translucent. The material itself is pretty tough and is one of the better ones in terms of sturdiness. Very easy to print IAW Flashforge website’s guidance of .12mm initial first layer. I would recommend, just be advised that it’s not as deep of red as represented in the photo, but it does complement other colors very well.

Great filament and great color. No problems clogging or stringing. Adhesion was excellent and I do not think I have had any failed prints due to the filament.

Excellent filament, as one would expect from the makers of the brilliant Flashforge 5m pro. No warping, threading, or misprints so far. Adheres well to print bed and is quite tough. Really what else would one expect from the flashforge name.
