very highly recommended as these are excellent products from an excellent company with great customer service. i cannot take pills so the chewables are perfect, taste great and most importantly they work great and are vegan.

So glad I found this company and this clean product.Original Review: I ordered these because they have the least amount of added junk. I used to use Enzymatic therapy DGL, but they not only changed formulation but added so many fillers they are no longer useful or healthy. I contacted the company (Yuve) and asked about the Glycyrrhizin content of these because it is not listed on the package. I was informed that there is no Glycyrrhizin or that it falls under 2%. The flavor is strong black licorice which I actually love. I am unsure about dosing, the package says take two a day, but the research shows that 400 MG three times a day is effective so I plan to do two of these chewable tabs before each meal. I am hopeful, but is it too early to tell if these will work as other brands of DGL have done for me in the past. So far I like the taste, the companies prompt response to questions and that they seem to have no added junk in the formulation. I am hopeful!

I’v other brands as I like a chewable natural digestive aid. These are my favorite! Taste is not too strong and they are effective. Very soothing and would highly recommend.

I take 2 before every meal & 2 before bed . I used to take otc digestive help that was not good for a human to take long term I am happy. & comfortable marvelous product

I had a horrible reaction to this DGL. I took 1 pill and within 15 minutes my stomach and abdomen starting burning and cramping and I almost threw up. I also developed a migraine. I don't know why this happened, as I was regularly using a different brand of DGL (Natures Way.) and never felt anything bad from that one. My entire GI tract is still inflamed 2 days later and I haven't been able to eat anything since without extremely uncomfortable side effects. I tried to call the company, but phone number was invalid. I also tried their website text help, but got no response. I would steer clear of this brand!

Bought this for my teenage son, the packaging around the bottle looks like Someone printed it out on a home computer…. Other then that seem to be working good I presume.

I've been using licorice root tea for many years as a general stomach "fix-up," be it general indigestion, bloating or heart burn. It works well and also has the benefit of being tasty since I do enjoy the taste of licorice. These pills, while being easier and more convenient to take versus tea, don't provide me with the same benefits.The recommended dosage is pretty high -- 2 capsules 3 times per day. That means, at the recommended dose, the bottle of 100 will only last about 17 days. That doesn't make it a very good value. The capsules are of reasonable size and not too difficult to swallow.While the pills helped a bit to settle an upset stomach, it took longer and was not as effective as licorice tea (or a combo of licorice and ingredients such as ginger or peppermint). I do see it as being worthwhile for those who don't care for the taste of licorice since the capsules have no discernible taste. I also did not encounter any side effects from usage. But, if you're looking for max effectiveness, give the licorice tea a try. Three stars.

Bought this product for my teenager who has been dealing with GERD essentially from birth. Trying to get her off over the counter and prescription acid reflex meds. We've been researching mastic gum, zinc-L-Carnosine, marshmellow root, and DGL Licorice. So far, the DGL Licorice has had the most dramatic sustained effect for her. It took probably 2-3 weeks to start seeing a difference, but she is having dramatically less GERD symptoms overall, in all categories. She takes 2 pills with each meal. They are not small pills, so that was a bit of an issue at first, but she's ok with them now. We will definitely reorder and keep her on these for a long time. The research articles I read indicated the longer participants used DGL Licorice, the more dramatic GERD symptom improvement is.
