I find this is the best coco chip. I’ve ordered it in a couple different sizes and they always come bug free and much cheaper than the reptile stores.

Very good in my snakes cages and lasts longer than dirt. Holds moisture well too. I have bought this product at least 15 times!

There was a review on here where the guy said he had a 55 gallon and was going to use 4 blocks to give him 4 inches of depth.. I used 2 blocks in a tote and got about 4 inches depth in TWO 55 gallon tanks and still have about half a tote left. The other reviews about shredded trash/paper/seed sack material are correct there is that in here. Overall great value but feel like I've wasted a good bit listening to that one review. Should've just used one block. We'll see how this dries.

I was looking for a different type of bedding for my ball python enclosure. This stuff it amazing. Its comes in a small package but expands to quite a bit if bedding. It doesn't have any weird smells and it holds moisture great. Doesn't dry out super quick like a lot of other beddings.

I bought this to try out in a ball python enclosure, overall I am pretty happy with it. The bricks are a great size for freezing. I froze mine for several days and used boiling water to hydrate it. One brick filled about 1/3rd of a 5gal bucket and fully covered the bottom of a 36”x18” 50 gallon enclosure. I will probably use 4-5 bricks to achieve 4 inches of coverage.The substrate is a mix of fiber and chip and I did find some large clumps of clay mixed in as well as string and some little bits of plastic, just be sure to sort through it. This is why I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars.This holds moisture well and reconstituted quickly. It is very soft, left no splinters in my hand and has a nice earthy smell.The picture I included of the enclosure is one brick.

this coconut husk works well in my turtle tank. Very easy to clean and replace when necessary. The brick sizes are good and are expand when wet which is very helpful in a habitat. This could also benefit a dog's health in some way from what I hear. The design is good, comfortable for the turtle and eliminates smells in the habitat.

I am extremely satisfied with this product. I breed ball pythons and was getting the coco from reptile shows but decided to give this a try. They expanded great. Gives a bunch of coco per brick. 3 bricks fill a 28qt storage in.Definitely gonna be on a subscription plan for more of this thank you.

When I added water to the coconut husks to expand them, I discovered that the bedding was full of plastic wrappers that looked like they were shredded up with the coconut husks. The bedding was full of this plastic. I would like my money back and I do not want to send this product back. It has been expanded by water, and is now 20 gallons big.
