I purchased the DOMINOX Propane Torch Head for a variety of DIY projects and have been incredibly impressed with its performance. Very heavy duty construction and dependable flame ignition and control. BUT, when I first tried the torch it failed to light. I found the problem was with the spark wire was not inside a small spring in the torch head. Maybe during assembly? Once I placed the spring over the wire it worked flawlessly ever since. Probably one of the best purchases I've made in a while. FIVE stars even though I needed to fix the starter wire.

Quit working after 3 uses. Worked great at first. I used it to light a fire 2 times with no issues. The third time it wasn't lighting very well and I assumed the tank was about empty. I lit the torch with a lighter and it had a very loose flame but got the fire lit. Went and bought a new tank and the torch wouldn't. I tried everything. I finally lit it with a lighter and it still has the loose flame. Not sure what's going on but I paid $30 for this one so I could save a bit from the name brand. It's a pretty simple device so I thought "What could go wrong?". Well, it could break after 2 uses and you could waste $30. Just buy the bernzomatic
