I was surprised at how quickly my Ceylon cinnamon arrived. Very well packaged also. I ordered Ceylon cinnamon after doing a little research on the two different kinds of cinnamon and finding out that the Ceylon type is far superior and safer, especially if you consume it on a daily basis like I do. I grind mine up in a little coffee/spice grinder and eat about 2 tsp/daily strictly for nutrition (with applesauce). I love knowing that these wonderfully fresh cinnamon sticks were grown in Sri Lanka, packed in a airtight container, and delivered to my doorstep in Connecticut, halfway around the world, in a matter of days. I see some people say there is no smell in the can when opened. Well, they are right, but the awesome smell when I put 3 pieces in my simmering water for coffee is amazing. The flavor is the best I have tasted. When I drink my coffee with the cinnamon water, the smell makes my coffee the best ever.I put 3 pieces in a large pot of water, maybe about 1/2 gallon. I just put a lid on the pot and use and use the water for the next 3 days. I just leave it on the stove with the cinnamon sticks left in the water, and heat in a separate pot when needed.

It taste awesome. I usually buy the powder for my coffee but I decided to try the cinnamon sticks & it’s a nice change. I use it for hot chocolate in addition to my coffee.
