I have now bought two of these to build into my dust collector system. They are solidly build galvanized steel; not sure of the gauge but they are much more sturdy than the snap lock duct that you find in big box stores. I fit a Powertec blast gate onto one 6” end, which slotted in perfectly. I modified it slightly on the other 6” end by removing the crimped end, so that I could fit another duct into it. On the 4” end, I put a rubber coupling to attach a tool hose.Great value, great durability! Will buy again as I expand my dust collection system.

Metal is thick enough for intended use. Joint is well sealed (no leak). Flex tube fits correctly.

Excellent construction
Exactly what I needed to vent my paint booth to outside air. Perfect angle and the 6" and 4" diameters were also spot on. Nice heavy piece of equipment, will use again.

Exactly what I needed
Needed this fitting for evacuating smoke and fumes from two different laser engravers. Added blast gates to both ends and it works great.
