(725ml Pack) Squid Brand Fish Sauce 725ml

This Squid Brand Fish Sauce is a classic Asian fish sauce. Adds the wanted "umami" and saltiness. I make my own (very fake) Thai-style soups - without this fish sauce, they all seem somewhat flat and boring. Adding a few dashes of this, they are really nice. Something like this is absolutely essential. I also sometimes use it in a variety of non-Asian style dishes I make. Just a small amount can make quite a difference without dominating.

I consider this to be good quality and glass bottle is preferable to plastic for longer term storage

All fish sauce, it turns out, is far from equal. Having used a more common, oft-recommended brand for years, I tried this one. Never goin’ back. There’s a Thai seafood dipping sauce (nam jim pae sa, which should be nicknamed nom-nom seafood) that comes alive with this Squid brand. So do other sauces and soups. Highly recommend.
