Have to confess i was quiet surprise with this walking stick. In all my previous experiences my expectations ended as soon as I opened the package. They were more decorative then anything else. With this one you immediately realise that its made of solid wood and once assembled you are ready to go knowing it will help you keep your balance without breaking. Very happy and strongly recommend.

There is one thing wrong with this folding walking stick, it does not fold! It comes in four sections which have to be unscrewed and screwed together again, tricky if you have problems with stiff fingers and hands, having said that, it is a well made, sturdy stick, but I already have a well made sturdy stick, I bought this one as I thought a folding stick would be handy to take on holiday, so yes, I'm disappointed.

very poor the screw hole in the top part was a completely different size to the rest of the stick, then i have the inconvenience of having to send it back

Fairly sturdy wood, the rubber foot wore down to the skrew after the first use. So traction/grip is poor. Wouldn't advise use in the wet or worse. Not overly impressed.
