Was alittle hard to connect to the internet. Finally brought the router in the bathroom to connect & it worked perfectly!

We bought this mirror for our master bathroom. And we were super excited about it. HOWEVER, the instructions were not very clear at all on how to set up the mirror. In fact it took me two days to figure it out. First download the WISEMIRROR app. In the Amazon description it wasn’t clear which app to download. It listed one thing on Amazon and another in the manual. Then, you must get it to say scan. May need to follow the instructions on the app. Which are also not super clear. You have to unplug the mirror six times for it to say scan. Once that’s done. You have to connect to the MIRROR wifi in the APP. Instructions weren’t super clear on what wifi to connect to. I thought I needed to connect to my home wifi. But no, connect to the mirror wifi. That says wisemirror. Then it took me a while to figure out why the light wasn’t working. I finally watched a review video to find that it was on the bottom left side. Overall, it was super hard for me to figure out how to get it set up. But I hope this helps someone else. Love the mirror. Just hated the set up process and vague instructions.

Installing the mirror was made more difficult because the mounting template was not included (contrary to the installation manual). That aside, I made my own and was able to get it centered and level. The really disappointing feature is that it has to be plugged in - it can't really be hard wired to a light switch. I mean - you could, but it wouldn't turn on with the switch. There isn't a single photo of the mirror in the description that shows a cord.

Love the mirror but I decided that not to keep it afraid if anything went wrong, I would have to deal with the hassle to removing it if it stops working.

Very difficult to connect to the wifi systems and the website required to install weather is very glitchy!

The first mirror my contractor bought arrived shattered. The second, which I ordered, simply refuses to connect and is out of the refund window. After setting up a brand new network that’s 2.4GHz only for this mirror, I’ve tried both modes (“scan” and “ap”) and in no case does it work. To add insult to injury, you can’t turn on the light around the mirror without the app. So that’s where we are: a mirror that’s supposed to have a lights that don’t work without an app. Oh and the app, which is mostly Engrish, is by a developer called “Adsmart” and refuses to work unless you grant it every permission under the sun to make sure they can target you. Going to ask Amazon for a refund with proof of it being destroyed so that I can have a working mirror.

I like the mirror however I think it doesn’t give off enough light
