Great for the price
This crossbow is great for the price. Easy to assemble. Scope is very nice. Shoots easy. Comes with a hand crank for cocking the crossbow. Haven’t used it yet. I have only used the foot brace. Not too difficult for me but some make need the hand crank. Really good bolt speed (410 fps) which makes the range better than my bow. Recommended.

The slide on the crank broke in half
The crossbow is good the crank not so much cause the first time I went to cock it the slide broke causing a dry fire I was disappointed cause now I can not get it cocked with out the crank.

Love it great crossbow
Set up was easy just follow the instructions. Everything performed as it should the scope performed well and zeroed easy and glass is good and sight performed great however I changed out scope for a speed scope with a 2×5 zoom made it better for my old eyes. Shoots great tight groupings out to 60 yards. As that as far as I have shot. Shot 50 times no issues and on target love it. So far great crossbow for the money very great value. I would recommend this for anyone looking for a hunting crossbow can't wait till next deer season.

Xpedition Trophy 410X crossbow
Well first I was kinda disappointed all the research I found that xpedition archery bows was made in the USA. When I got my crossbow the box it was in said made in Taiwan ok maybe just the box? After putting it together seems descent quality. Went sight it in the scope (no name on it I would have expected a low end hawk) and the eye piece would barely turn to adjust it very very tight finally got it to hit a 3” circle after about 20 shots. I did like the hand crank but ended up using the pull crank it was a little quicker. At some point I will probably get a better scope. If I would do it again I would get a ten point.(UPDATE) after about a week I went shoot the crossbow and after 3 shots the string will not cock back and lock in the trigger mechanism tried several times looks like the trigger latch may have broken. I am returning it very disappointing.

Easy set up
What a great combo the Xpedition Archery Trophy 410 crossbow is. For under $400 you can't beat it. I received it and you have everything you need right out of the box. The crossbow, scope, 6 bolts and 2 cocking devices. It comes with the rope cocking device as well as a crank cocking device. I assembled the crossbow and mounted the scope and went outside to dial it in. I used the rope cocker but the crank device is there if someone would need it. It took me about 4 shots to get it dialed in at 20 yards. Then I moved back to 30 yards and hit right where I needed to. I can't wait to get this thing out in the field this fall.

Broke.
First day trying the crank cocking device. It broke. Contacted the seller. But haven't got a reply. The crossbow is good. But you think I would at least get a reply back about my problem. Even contacted expedition company. But with no luck.

Well made, shoots straight.
Wish I knew before I made purchase that Xpedition crossbows can only shoot their Xpedition brand bolt with its proprietary clip-on nock. Not sold in any store. Clip on nock not available separately. No lighted clip-on nock/bolt available.

Excellent value for a first hunting crossbow.
I took my time setting it up and used a laser bore sighter ($22) and everything seemed fine. the only issue is the one that's been mentioned quite a bit. The crank cocking device broke the first time I used it and released the string from about 3/4 draw, I've contacted the manufacturer and I'm waiting for a reply for replacement. Otherwise the Rope Cocking Devicew Works fine, although I wouldn't want to rope cock a crossbow in a treestand. That's what the crank cocking device was going to be used for. I reviewed a replacement crank cocking device and tried to use it. The same thing happened with the replacement. I let loose at 3/4 draw, this time it did damage the finish on the bow and the rail. I've attached pictures. I don't expect a replacement for what is Aesthetic damage but I will see.Update: The Directions for using the Cranking device are not really clear enough. Unlike virtually every other crossbow crank this crank is designed to thread the string the same way the Rope cocker in threaded. That is with the crossbow facing away from you the cocking rope forms an "M" shape. If the crank cocker is threaded in a "U" the crank is effectively doing double the work and that's why it the cranks failed. Xpedition sent me a second replacement crank and when positioned correctly no problems have occurred yet. This company stands by it's warranty. I've added a star just for that alone. Fill out the Warranty online and you are covered.
