I bought these for packing, they work great for that and if you stuff some shirts or something in your hat as well it will make the journey in a suitcase or whatever unscathed. Surprisingly though I now just keep them in while wearing the hat too. So I think that means they're pretty good

Works well to maintain shape of the hat, but even in 50 degree weather at work while moving it causes a greenhouse effect where sweat will condensate in you head and it won’t evaporate, the condensation is so great you will have a damp scalp as if you gotten wet by rain. Idk it did the job to keep the hats shape but I never expected this outcome. Longer use could cause acne from the build up of sweat.
