The pressings aren’t the fanciest audiophile quality I’ve ever heard, but they’re clean, loud, and totally enjoyable. Good detail, no awful surface noise, and they hit hard on a decent setup. The jackets and sleeves are standard—again, not premium, but nothing showed up messed up, and the artwork looks great on a shelf or wall. This set would make an awesome gift, too. Perfect for anyone just starting their vinyl collection or a younger metal fan who needs the essentials in one go. It’s basically the starter pack for thrash history. If you want the core of Metallica’s golden era on wax, this collection is the shortcut. The album lineup is legendary—Kill ‘Em All, Ride the Lightning, Master of Puppets, …And Justice for All, and the Black Album. No weak links there. Better than the original releases 100 stars 🌟
OMG, this set is better than I expected. Not only did each CD come in a protective sleeve inside the case but the actual booklet with the songs, lyrics and photos were all there!! Just like the originals back when they were first released. I literally cried when I got them opened and the sound is freaking PHENOMENAL!! GREAT JOB METALLICA AND THANK YOU AMAZON!!!
