Saline for nebulisers not eyes
There is much to learn about saline solution that most people do not know. Once you start to use a nebuliser, however, (or to help someone else to do so) you quickly understand that all saline is not made equal and this 3% Hypertonic solution is one type often associated with nebuliser use for inhalation into the lungs. Do not put them in your eyes. The saline for your eyes is 0.9% strength, which is on a par with the usual saltiness of the body.I like that these capsules of saline are individual sized which makes their use simple, whether you are using them on their own or with added prescribed medication. They are easy to take on holiday or to use with hand-held nebulisers; they might also be a good idea for someone just getting to grips with a larger size home nebuliser as there can be a lot to remember on how to use.One of the pros of these individual pods is that it is guaranteed to be sterile until opened so depending on the user and the environment this could be very important. Although you can buy larger bottles of saline, obviously they don't last forever once opened, so there may be wastage, and you must be careful the saline or dropper does not get contaminated. The last thing you want is a bacterial infection on the lungs if you already have lung problems. At the time of writing these 25 saline pods cost £27.68 - that's more thank £1 each. And you may need to nebulise on a regular basis. So the price adds up quickly. And it can't possibly cost this to make this item, which is frustrating. That said, the price appears to be around a market average. As I said I think these would work well for occasional use, flare-ups, or travel, but you may want to look how you can organise a contamination free supply from a larger bottle etc if you need to use every day etc.One additional thing, doctors I've spoken to are on the fence at best about nebuliser use although I see their use is much more popular in the America, for example. Please do speak to a medical professional before use, to make sure it is appropriate for you.

A good quality certified product
It’s been rather difficult to get a >1% saline in 5ml use once solutions for our portable nebuliser for a while. The individual vials are very easy to use as they have a twist off top that even someone with reduced finger mobility would find easy to open. These are also great for emergency kits and travelling. At 5ml each we’re assuming several 5ml container would be safe to be taken on international flights where the max is 90ml. (please check airline might be different). After some research we did find a NAVEH compliance certification on their web site, however we also found a similar product manufacture by an FDA Approved company being sold for a cheaper price, but we did find the same product being sold for a more expensive price by the same manufacture because it had baby in the title. It just proves it’s wise to shop around! 5* for the quality of the product

certified good quality
The individual capsules, with easy twist off tops, are extremely useful for travelling, or when in a hurry to put into the nebuliser. The saline, once misted and breathed into the lungs, should help to loosen up the chest. It's something we have done for many years, but when travelling it's important not to use any kind of tap water, even boiled to make up a solution as, more often than not the water can contain parasites, so this certified solution in enclosed capsules gives complete assurance that what is being administered is totally sterile and 100% safe to use. It's always advisable though to give hands a thorough wash before touching the capsules and the nebuliser
