We have had this pan for several months now and use it at least several times a week. Its cooking surface is wonderfully non-stick, to the point where butter or oil is irrelevant.For scrambled eggs, you can just throw them into the pan, cook them, and they come out perfect without any scaly layer. For ground beef or browned chicken, it goes straight in, and comes out perfectly cooked too.However, there are times where we need to use oil in there, and that is for fried foods like won-tons. Other times you need to have butter in there. If not, the french toast won't turn that perfect golden brown with that unmistakable butter flavor. The same goes for scallops! Or for butter-roasted pecans, they wouldn't live up to their name. But this isn't because the pan needs the oil or the butter, it is because the food needs it for appearance and flavor.When it comes time for cleanup, nothing is stuck to the surface. There is cooking residue, but after about 15 seconds in soapy water and a quick pass of the wash cloth it is clean. Nothing sticks!There is a cons with this pan. It is larger than you need when making scrambled eggs for a single person, but is perfect for about 2-4 people. It is perfect for making french toast for a single person, but it takes several batches to make enough for multiple people. But I guess this isn't as much of a con, as much as it is a reason to buy this pan, and one smaller and one larger as well!

Love the size of the pan and enjoyed cooking on it at first. But I'd say after four or five weeks it started sticking. We keep it at a medium to low heat so that's not the issue.AUG 16, 2017:Changed stars from 3-star to 1-star as we finally gave up and threw away the pan 8 months after purchase. This is probably the worst pan I've ever owned. We kept the heat low and cleaned properly, but it needed a ton of oil from the get go to keep food from sticking. Then, last several months it's been almost impossible to cook with...and we finally trashed it.

It cooks just fine, but it is very heavy. It is made in Korea, and there was no info on the box, or included inside the box declaring what the interior finish is made of. I also learned the hard way that the base has a razor sharp edge on it that sliced right through my thumb when I was hand washing it. Review Part 2: I have just discovered the hard way that the glass lid is not tempered. Although was thoroughly cooled, when I slid it into a pan of hot dishwasher, it shattered to bits....the pan is still holding up well.

We love the cooking surface. the pan works well with oil or without. The upper, green-colored half of the handle, however, is made of a type of plastic that softens at a pretty low temperature - the heat coming out of the vent from the oven was hot enough to cause the plastic to warp badly. Oops. The company replaced the pan, however, so we're happily using the new one.

I bought this pan because of Hulda Clark's, a Naturapathic Doctor's work, and her recommendation that one must eliminate the heavy metal toxicity of stainless steel cook ware and the toxicity of the old non-stick cookware. This is ceramic...let me tell you, this pan shows no evidence of breakdown as does the other non-stick stuff. And after more than a year of use up to 3 times per day there is no sign of breakdown. This is the way to go....One of the most important things is that it comes with a glass lid. Because of the glass lid, you can cook almost anything.This is the best pan I have ever had in my 64 years of life.Buy the way, I have done Hulda Clark's parasite cleanse and it saved my life. The parasites were killing me. The remedy I used was Now Foods Fresh Green Black Walnut Hull, Wormwood extract. I bought this from Amazon.com. Why do any of this? Because you need to eliminate toxic stuff from your life and be sure that you have no parasites be they viruses, bacteria, chemicals, or eat food with inadequate nutrition.Be smart!Dr. Eichenauer, OMD, L'AP

Have it for a month now and right from the start did not work well - Eggs stick, everything sticks, duped again. I do not recommend. Buyer beware.

The nonstick coating didn't last after a a few months use. Love the lid. Just wish it was deeper and that the coating lasted longer. The coating seems to scratch easily and I mainly used it on electric stove.

nice pan good non-stick surface. I have only used it for 1 month but so far it has works well, only time will tell how long the surface lasts. It has a good weight to it also. The only thing I don;t care for is the color, but if you like bright pea soup green give it a try.
