Sound quality is great!
Overall a great experience. Sound quality is great for both CD and Cassette. Since it's a good quality it also plays some audio cassettes that had issues playing in my walkman, so am happy to have this player.Please note to use a step down transformer of 220/240V to 120V(you can definitely get it on amazon, I had got one earlier from Amazon 12 years ago and it is still good). There was a delay in delivery by the seller but they called me and provided excellent updates on when I will receive it since it is imported from US, it takes time, but patience pays. Overall I am happy with the purchase, again do use a step down transformer for this player, it's a good one!

Good product
Happy to listen to the old collection of cassettes and cd’s which needs to be digitalized now. The sound is clear as always for Philips. Needs adapter as the pin is HK/US type.

Power supply for the unit
I have become extremely surprised and frustrated just after unpacking that. The unit is suitable for 120 V AC and 60 Hz frequency, which is not for India. How the seller is promoting this product in india without mentioning this technical specification?

110 v power input seems unsound for Indians where AC supply is 220v. Only FM is bad option from a reputed company without MW network

It is designed for US. It will not work on Indian 220V AC connection. It is designed to run on 120V DC connection.

They are trying to sell suit product, it is incompatible in India. Plug and it will need a step down from 220 v to 120 v
