Worked absolutely fine. I had no problems with losing signal throughout the cooking time of approximately 3 hours as I smoked a roast. This is unlike some reviews of complaints about losing the Bluetooth signal. I'm extremely happy with my purchase.

Fantastic thermometer just cooked chataeubriand. Takes all the guesswork out of cooking meat just as you like it and makes it easy to plan when to cook your sides.

I have bought and used multiple different versions of the Meater probes over the years and have been waiting for this one to use on high temp cooking areas. A great addition, works well in BBQ and flash griddle or high temp ovens. Easy to clean and works with existing app. More expensive than the other versions but I'm sure in time it will reduce in price and will also be able to tell if it was worth being an early adopter. At the moment it's a Yes.

I bought the meater pro 2 as I’d seen them a few years ago and thought I’d leave it until they improved them hence the pro 2, wrong decision! Nice marketing nice looking product and setup was a cinch that’s where it stops! The probe, block and phone constantly loses connection unless you stand over it like right over it!! Risky when there’s £80 worth of meat on the line! Had to result back the trusty £10 pen style probe and check that way which completely defeated the object of “completely worry free to do other things”, tried it a second time with a big ham joint in the egg as soon as the lid went down no connection with my phone and block on the shelf literally a foot away! If one thing it did do well and I’d say very well was raise your temper to searing point! So Mr meater I think your R&D team should look into designing a chefs temper gauge as wearable to go with the meater, could call it a teater because after any dealing with such an expensive useless gadget your teatering on the edge of losing it, avoid this piece of crap at all costs!!

Cooked to PERFECTION 😍 this tool is a total game changer when it comes to cooking meat and poultry. I’ve cooked chicken breasts before Christmas to test the probe and honestly it was the most juicy chicken I have ever had. Then the big day, our Christmas Turkey was perfect. Not dry one bit. So tasty. I highly recommend this to anyone who loves cooking but gets a little worried about how long to cook meat/poultry.
