This is our third Amazon Fire Stick Voice Remote (3rd Gen) for our TV, and we’re cautiously optimistic about this one! The remote itself is a solid upgrade from previous versions, with a sleek design and intuitive layout. The Alexa voice control is a standout feature—being able to search for shows, control volume, and even manage smart home devices with a simple voice command is incredibly convenient. The dedicated buttons for Netflix, Prime Video, and other apps make navigation a breeze, and the power and volume controls eliminate the need for juggling multiple remotes. Setup was straightforward, pairing easily with our Fire TV Stick, and the performance has been smooth so far. Our only concern stems from our experience with the previous two remotes, which didn’t last as long as we’d hoped—hence why we’re on our third. The build quality feels decent, but we’re keeping our fingers crossed for better durability this time around. For the price and functionality, it’s a great tool for enhancing our streaming experience, and we’re hopeful this one will be the charm! Highly recommend for its features, but here’s to hoping it holds up over time.

Almost returned this thing because it didn't work out of the box. First time I tried to charge it the light didn't go on indicating it was taking a charge. Second time was a charm, and it has worked better than the original Samsung remote ever since. It is also slightly smaller than the OEM version, which I guess is a bonus.

This was so easy, cheap, and fast after we lost our remote. Came with instructions and even has a way to find this remote when it gets lost!

Works great with fire stick. Like the additional quick button selection for popular apps. Would recommend if needing replacement remote. The only thing I would recommend is having a sturdier back plate. Just like remote that comes with the system, it comes off more easily after using for a while. Overall, decent replacement for the price.

It’s okay. The volume buttons along with the on/off button simply wouldn’t work. I was on the phone with customer service for a grueling 55 minutes right after I received the remote, and they couldn’t figure it out either. It didn’t seem like they knew much about this specific device/criteria in the first place. They were unwelcoming, and to be honest, they shouldn't work in customer service. He (the rep) kept changing the settings on my personal T.V which I had to reset myself after choosing to end the customer service call after an hour! (55 minutes to be exact). As I said, everything was operational apart from the volume buttons, and power button. I have set up about 5 fire sticks for all the rooms in my home, the prior two of which I set up on this particular tv that I bought this replacement fire stick remote for. Yet the rep continued saying that it’s “incompatible”. No. I’ve never had an issue. Ever. Until now. Idk if it’s an issue with Amazon being able to find tech literate staffing for customer service, or maybe amazons replacement remotes for the fire sticks just being trash, or if they simply don’t care anymore. I’ve spent a lot of money with them. The past two months especially. And I have had nothing but bad experiences the two times that I’ve had to contact customer service. This fire stick issue being the second. The first issue was me ordering a set of ring doorbell cams. The doorbell camera , and the outside camera. They sent me a little box of sunscreen instead of my outdoor camera I paid 100 dollars for. So they sent the wrong item, then refused to send me a replacement, and I had to go through the whole process of returning the sunscreen they sent, and am now waiting on a refund. The front door ring camera arrived the next day without issue. Their customer service department in chat transferred me three, maybe four, times to others for no apparent reason. They then threatened to end the correspondence when I said the word ‘bloody’, ?, and they did not come up with a solution that suited me at all. Extremely uncaring and uninterested interaction from the customer service associates. Amazon customer service used to be top tier….. what happened???!! As for the replacement remote we’re talking about. Get it for the 9.99 here if it is your only option. It’s a 50/50 chance honestly. Otherwise just replace the entire firestick at Target for $6 more. Way less stress. Way easier returns. Good luck.
