The device does not hold it's adjustment to a base line to which all vertical and horizontal lines are oriented. It is moderately useful for "rough" drafting but not for precision drafting. Quite disappointing. I have been unable to find affordable machines so this one will have to do for now.

Cheap, cheap, cheap. I gave it a chance, went on a travel job, and came back to still hating it. Hated it so much I ignored it and then forgot and missed my window to return it. I didn't even want to gift it, so I just left it on the curb when I moved.Why did I hate it so much? For something so pricey it's made of super cheap plastic that was the same 'warm' gray as computers from 1867. The arm is supposed to remain in place once tightened, but since all the contact points were plastic (only the black tubes pictured are metal) they didn't really secure anything and would always eventually loosen and eventually it wouldn't even hold in place momentarily.Ultimately this is an insanely overmarked product and is so far from useful per price as to prompt me to recommend you AVOID THIS PRODUCT.

While I haven't had a chance to work with it I AM impressed with it. Seems well made and sturdy. Looking forward to trying this out soon. Will be using it in my woodworking shop and need to make space for it.

don't waste your time or money, machine is just not precise enough to do any legitimate kind of engineering or drafting.

Nice product

Product is hard to attach to drafting table, clips keep falling out when I try to clamp down, still working on it between other work.
