Great CPU for certain use cases
I bought one of these 'Processor 300' CPUs partly out of curiosity and partly because it was 20-odd quid (it's not worth more than that!). Clearly this CPU is not designed for heavy workloads, although it does not 'crash' as another reviewer states, it merely cripples the system so other applications sometimes become unusable - it doesn't take much to push a dual-core CPU to 100% usage these days. Used sensibly, this is a great, power-frugal CPU. I've deployed it into a HTPC in my living room, a job which it is perfectly suited for. At idle it can be made to consume less than 5W of power, and only goes to around 12W when playing back a 4K HDR video file. The built in graphics decode everything in hardware, including AV1. CPU usage is very low when consuming media. If used in a home server or HTCP, this CPU is a good deal at 20 to 30 quid. Just don't buy a dual core CPU in 2025 and moan that it is underpowered.
