Works perfectly. I just used one part of each of the pigtails (as an extender instead of a doubler) and it worked great.

Good fit. Needed to split one of my 16AWG PCIe cable(connected to 1300W power supply) for my new GPU since it has three PCIe power inputs. This does well. Looking in GPU-Z, i see a 100-130 watt draw roughly on each PCIe port. Port 1 and 3 actually draw lower power than port 2 by about 30% so I have the splitter connected to PCIe port #1 and #3. 16AWG PCIe can handle that no problem to the splitter. This splitter is 18AWG so all good.

exactly what i needed x 2 i bought an older video card that was amazing when it was new but had 2 6pin plugs my powersupple only had 8 pin plugs this solved that issue

Short cables make sure before you buy. Other than that they look like ok quality never took them out of the package.

They felt well-built for their intended purpose, but I no longer needed it for my GPU as I went with a different graphics card.

Bought, they looked good quality. Read an article about power adapters often being a point of failure.... Bought a new modular PSU instead. Cost of these splitters was considerably cheaper. The splitter fitted and worked fine during the few days I tried it, and would of probably survived my usage anyway. So give it a go... Worst case scenario, you now have some backup options.
