Responsible Company
I had purchased the Jupiter kick scooter in June of this year for my 3 year old son. He had it about a month and he loved it. It go used every single day. However, the frequent use did a number on the rear brake which is made of thin plastic. After the first month a hole burned through/eroded through the break and my son had to use his shoe to break the scooter.I then submitted a claim from their website via the warranty policy section. This was fairly easy and straight forward. I had to show proof of purchase, the damaged break, etc. After I submitted the claim I received a RMA number and was told I would hear back in the standard 7-10 business days after they reviewed my claim.A few weeks went by and I hadn't heard anything so I sent an email to support. I didn't hear any response for a few days so I called. When I called I couldn't get through to anyone but I could leave a voicemail...so I did. About a week went by after that and I finally got a call back saying that my claim was being processed and I should receive an update shortly... no new news there.About 4 months went by (it's now the end of October) and each month I sent an email to support asking for an update. I either received a response saying that they are delayed due to Covid or that the replacement scooter had been shipped. I recently sent another email, this time a little more aggressive than the previous emails, and within 24 hours I received confirmation that my replacement had been shipped and was sent a tracking number. Within a few days I received a package and I am happy to report that Jetson sent me two scooters, I assume to compensate for the lack of customer service/delay in processing my replacement. So long story short, I'm disappointed about the lack of design quality related to the rear break and the overall customer service however I am very happy that Jetson did offer a warranty policy and did the right thing by sending me two scooters instead of one.

Most important to know is some assembly required
My eight-year-old grandson loves the scooter. The lights were a true selling point. This is a replacement for his old scooter, which he rode to death. Assembly is required and even grandma could do it.

Doesn’t light up
The media could not be loaded. The tires only light up once in a blue moon and yes, I did hit the button on the bottom of the bike and did change the batteries and it still doesn’t work. The neck of the bike doesn’t light up at all even though it’s lined with LED lights. cheaply made. I gave it at least three stars because my child still likes to ride it regardless. But when a person pays for something they should expect to get what they pay for.
