Superchips 4950 Cortex for Nissan Titan, Armada, Infiniti QX56 5.6L/Pathfinder and Frontier 4.0L

I don't know why I waited so long to buy this for my 06 Frontier. I was worried because the truck has 140k on it and didn't know if I was going to hurt it. Boy was I wrong! This thing really made it like driving a different truck. It's so quick and so easy to use and there are several different tunes to choose from. After I drove my truck for a couple of weeks on the 91 octane performance tune, I switched my truck back to the stock settings and it felt like I was towing another Frontier behind me. It makes a very noticeable difference. Much muchhhh more responsive. Also I noticed the same gas mileage on the 91 performance tune as the stock setting. I haven't tried the gas saver tune yet, but I am sure it will work. Wish I could rate it higher! This gives me a reason to want to hang on to my truck for a little longer now rather than sell and get a newer one. More money in my pocket and a big smile on my face!

Did not work on even after waiting on many. For a week the did not know how to fix it so I sent it back and got a hypertech the worked as soon as I hooked it up

Generally I like it, but, my gas mileage went down compared to factory/stock settings.

this is a must have for titan owners. it gained me 3 miles to gallon in gas in saver mode. it is way more responsive, power and shifting in tow mode. I have a 28 foot travel trailer that weighs 4600lbs and it pulls way better and with ease! I cant get over the gains. would buy again in a heart beat!

Does exactly what it's advertised to do. The Cortex 4950 was very easy to use - plugged it into my PC with the included USB cable, download the program from Superchips, and updated the programming. From there, you plug into the ODB-II port on your vehicle, and follow the on-screen instructions. First you'll be prompted to back up the vehicle's current configuration, after which you can choose different programming options. I tuned my vehicle to the 93 performance tune, and noticed a big difference afterwards. Well worth the price paid.

Well given the choices and experience I have this little unit rocks! but make sure your vehicle is in proper operational or especially if you run the 93 octane premium fuel map! I also have headers and coil air intake as well as cat back exhaust and a few other things! I would also suggest that as you make your modifications, do so one at a time so that you may judge for yourself how well the product and your vehicle respond!! In my case this was one of the last modifications I made (so far) and I surprise a lot of people, including myself! 169231 miles! 2006 Nissan VQ40

Immediate improvement all around! Truck had more power, shifted cleaner, only problem is keeping my foot off the gas! Total install from time I opened package was 20 minutes. Must have for any titan owner!

Works Great on my 04 Titan, it certainly woke the truck up with the 87 tune. I don't think it improved mpg, but it has made it a lot more fun to drive. Super easy to use, just read the instructions.
