Quality made and 10 minute easy to pull out of the box and start riding, :)
Scooter came in the mail quickly, set up was easy and manual easy to follow. Tires had plenty of air in them which was a nice surprise, packing was really good to prevent damage during shipping. Scooter appears to be well made strong and weatherproof. I’m 220lbs and was able to reach max speed and worked great going up my incline drive way. I’ve purchased ninebot products in the past for family and it’s the main reason why I purchased from this manufacturer again. Quality made, warranty, parts if you brake something are available, accessoriesand customer service over the years has been great (never had to call them). LOL. Cheers! Yes there are many other scooters on the market, cool looking with shocks and faster, but they are heavily to pick up and toss in your vehicle. I choose this one because I don’t want family who will be riding it to go over 15mph, I’ve seen to many folks take a nose dive hitting the pavement, plus when you rent them in the city areas they don’t go over 15mph, I think it’s a bike class code or something when riding on sidewalks/ bike paths.

This scooter is a reliable commuting option.
I did a lot of research towards finding a reliable commuter scooter to get me from point a to b, safely, reliably, and on time to the locations I need to be. This scooter was a resale scooter and came packaged in an almost new box. The packaging of the scooter was done well and secured the scooter inside well. The instruction manual was a little confusing at first because of all of the different languages on the same page. It came charged at 74% and didn’t take that long to change it up to 100%. I believe it took an hour and a half or so. I thought it would be very light for some reason but found out that it’s heavy. Like 41 pounds. It wouldn’t be that fun if I had to carry it a long distance. But the alternative to that is pushing it. The app to get it starting is easy to navigate. If you are connect the find my app to your scooter make sure your iPhone operating system is updated. If it’s an outdated version, it will not connect to the find my app. To change the speed modes press the power button twice. To turn on/off the ambient light press the power button three times. I took the vehicle 3.5 miles in sport mode my first ride. It took less than 15mins. The speed was great too. Down hill I got it to a max of 22 MPH. Pass that it will start to beep. Uphill, and in my neighbor the hill are steep, I did very well at 10 MPH. The brakes level is on the left side. It took some getting use to. I love the the signal light and the break lights for safety. All the light feature are cool. The ride is also smooth. I’m pleased with my first ride. After a few months I’ll give another update.

1-Star Review: Faulty Product & Terrible Customer Service
I purchased this Segway scooter on February 6th, and while it worked fine at first, serious issues quickly emerged: Structural Failure: The vertical stem/post became loose and wobbled dangerously within weeks. I tried tightening screws, but the problem persisted, making it unsafe to ride. Battery/Charging Defect: Now, it refuses to charge, falsely claiming "Overheat Protection"—even though the app shows the battery at 7°C (45°F). I’ve tried: Letting it "cool down" for hours (nonsense, since it’s not overheated). Testing multiple outlets/chargers. Resetting the scooter. Result: Still completely dead. Zero Support: Customer service ignored my complaints. No troubleshooting, no warranty help, nothing. Conclusion: A poorly built product with nonexistent support. Save your money—this brand can’t be trusted.

Well Built for Bigger Boys (and girls)
Feels very durable and solid. A little on the heavy side to carry but the weight is in exchange for it feeling like it is actually built for an adult male of some mass (230 lbs). Gets moving pretty well even at my weight. Design is nicer than some competitors whose products look chintzy.

Very nice quality
Very comfortable ride, easy to put together, can adjust to multiple heights . Great build. Only downside is it's little slow.

What a ride—at 75, I'm scooting into new adventures!
I’ve never owned a scooter before, but at 75 years old, I figured it was now or never. The Segway Ninebot E2 Pro has turned out to be a delightful surprise! After its first run, it’s now charging by the door, and I’m already looking forward to the next outing. This scooter is sleek and street-friendly, perfect for cruising around our large yard, neighborhood, or even taking along on RV trips. At around 40 pounds, it’s easy to lift in and out of our SUV, especially with the handle locked down for transport. Setup was smooth: installing the app, connecting via Bluetooth, and updating the firmware were all quick and intuitive. However, navigating the app’s deeper features—like setting speed limits for different modes—was a bit trickier. It would be great if Segway provided video tutorials tailored to this model to help users unlock its full potential. To my surprise, my 73-year-old wife hopped on and took off with no issues! We originally bought this as a test to see if either of us would enjoy scooting—and it turns out we both do. Could a second scooter be in our future? Quite possibly! The build quality of the E2 Pro is impressive, especially for the price. Overall, we’re very happy with this purchase and excited for the adventures ahead.

Had to return for defect
It’s being returned. Bought it as a Christmas present for my daughter, and when I went to assemble it on Christmas Eve, it had a defect and I was not able to install the handlebars. The coupling would not tighten on the shaft because the shaft thread was missing. I spoke with Segway customer service sent photos. they confirmed it was a defect. I will say the customer service was very helpful.

Great choice
Got this for my 10.5 year old- 59 inches tall and 110 pounds. First e-scooter. Was riding it like a pro in no time. Worried it would be too big, but it’s great and adults ride easily too. Only had it running for a couple of days so far.

Daughter loves this scooter. Runs well. Has running g lights and apps to help with theft. Definitely need to get a drink holder for it as 1 handed steering doesn't work well.

Broke within a month, the handlebars came loose from the frame and span around freely mid-ride, causing an accident while riding. This was apparently a manufacturing defect and I’d have to send it back for repairs to ride again. Absolutely awful. Do not buy.

Love the scooter! I use it to commute to work most days along with ripping it around town. Very stable. Love the option of cruise control. Good size floor board.

The E2 Pro is a solid scooter for city rides. It has good power, range, and the 10” tubeless tires help with comfort. It folds easily and feels stable. But there’s no suspension, so rough roads can be uncomfortable. Also, no upgrade options for suspension. Overall — great for smooth streets, but not ideal for bumpy terrain.
