Installed on my monitor with only VGA input. My computer has only HDMI output and can run two monitors so I was able to get my old monitor to work with the HDMI input. It works great. Happy that there is an adapter for it. It was super plug and play. Its small enough to hide on the computer. Product looks high quality. Highly recommended.

I got this for VGA to HDMI, and it wasn't working, but it works for HDMI to VGA, so make sure you are getting the correct one.But it worked great for its purpose, connecting to an HDMI port and a VGA input.

Worked great connecting an ancient 23" Sceptre Komodo TV/monitor to a modern Geekom A5 mini-PC. While the Sceptre has HDMI, its native resolution is 1366 X 768 @ 60 Hz, and I couldn't get it to work via HDMI with the mini-PC. So, I decided to go HDMI -->Adapter--->SVGA instead. Works flawlessly and saved me the cost of buying a more modern monitor. No flashes or problems, mine runs barely above room temperature.

I have an old monitor with the multi-pin plug for a desktop computer I bought 20 years ago. I had since switched to laptops, but when it was time to upgrade, I decided to save money and get a new desktop instead. To save even more money, I decided to keep my old monitor only to discover that newer computers no longer have multi-pin outlets, just USB outlets.
