Worked great for easing aches and pains, well made, easy to install, fits the lazy boy perfectly, and stays in place. Purchased this for my 93 year old parent who said it brought tremendous comfort after only one days use so I've now purchased the bed size one for him as well. I also tried it and found it to increase the comfort of an old recliner perfectly and relieved my aches and pains as well after just a few hours use during the day and transfering it to my bed for one night's sleep. I liked it so much that I am purchasing a second recliner size one for me. (Although transfering it from the recliner to the bed is easy and fast I opted to buy him the one for the bed so that I could keep the recliner one under a reliner cover so that the room looks more pleasant for him as this is where he spends most of his time and I won't have to move it back and forth each day)

This has really helped my mother. My mom has become more chair bound this past year and was starting to get a few small pressure points on her bottom. I took her to a wound clinic and the Dr was very matter of fact that she had to start turning side to side to alleviate the pressure on her rear. My mom spends all her time at home in her electric recliner and even sleeps in it so turning on her sides is very difficult but she's only comfortable in her chair. I found this and my Dad immediately had me order it. It's wonderful! 1 month later I took her for her recheck with the wound clinic and they were shocked she'd healed so well in just a month. We are happy she's healed and so happy that this was a great price, so comfortable to sit and lay on, fairly quiet and mom loves it! My Dad who is still mobile even likes it so much he wants one for his recliner too. My parents are almost 80 and I want to keep them comfortable and living at home as long as possible and this is a big help now!

Excellent for elderly people who are bed bound and recliner bound, and/or are prone to bedsores. The movement of the pad is very slow, and not intrusive. It moves just enough to adjust weight and remain comfortable. There is a slight vibration at the bottom of the pad, where the hoses connect to the unit, at the bottom of the pad. It does not affect the body area. It comes with a cover and is very quiet. We use a chair cover over the pad and you cannot feel any noticeable motion. Seller was excellent and emails were answered promptly. My 92 year old mother sleeps easily and the pad has straps that fasten, securly. Not one bedsore since using this pad. Excellent purchase and excellent seller.

My mom was resorting to sleeping in a recliner due to severe pain issues. While we are working dealing with those issues so we can get her back to comfortably sleeping in bed, she started to develop a pressure ulcer. I immediately started searching for something to help her out while she was in the recliner and this seemed like a great product and an affordable option to try. And I was able to return it if she didn't like it, and my mom is in a lot of pain, so I wasn't sure she would like it. It arrived the next day, was easy to set up and fit her recliner well. She really had no adjustment period and is able to tolerate the alternating pressure right from the start, but that would depend on each person. She has it on every time she is in the recliner. I showed this product to the doctor at the wound clinic and she thought it was great, along with getting a gel cushion for any other chair she would sit in, such as the dining room chair. Her pressure sore has greatly improved with treatment and all of these changes in the last 2 weeks. For anyone who needs to spend any length of time in a recliner, I highly recommend getting this to prevent this from happening in the first place. It really is a great investment!

I got this for my dad who has dementia and other issues. About six months after he stopped walking, I noticed his butt cheeks were getting very red every time I took him to the bathroom, and so I got very concerned. He spends most of his life in a recliner chair, and I did not want to deal with bed sores. Well, it's been almost two years now, and this Lunderg alternating air pressure pad has been running pretty much 24/7, and everything is functioning great. The compressor got just a little louder after a few months, but it's still really quiet and functions without issue. Also, the alternating pressure doesn't seem to interfere with his sleep since the pressure change is so subtle. I gotta say, I did not think this pressure pad would be so reliable and helpful. People are very surprised that my dad has no bed sores on his body. This pressure pad was worth every single penny. I'm so glad I decided to buy it, for it has mitigated so many serious potential issues. Honestly, this is a must-have for anyone that spends most of their life in a bed or chair.

If it would stay put on my slippery vinyl recliner I'd give it 5 stars. Even with anchor straps the law of physics prevails and the cushion slips down every time I sit... just far enough so my heels step on it. But it really helps keep pressure ulcers at bay... it's more preventative than cure but allows prolonged sitting without further aggravation to sensitive areas. Keeping in mind that simply getting up and walking around for a few minutes every hour in combination with using this pad gradually gives offers relief and considerable improvement. The inflation firmness is adjustable, it runs silently, and feels comfortable. A word of caution if you are a cat parent... when not actually sitting on it yourself be sure to keep it covered with a thick blanket or rug to avoid claw punctures. Wherever I sit seems desirable to my cat and the race is on to get there first. Highly recommend and would buy this again.

The pad works as advertised, but it doesn't give the relief I'd expected. Operates as advertised.
