Everflo Universal Compressor Filter, Each

The AG Industries Everflo filter was a perfect fit for my patient’s oxygen concentrator and proved invaluable during the Dixie Fire incident in California. With smoke saturating the air and the fire dangerously close to our community, maintaining clean oxygen flow was a top priority. Although Lincair supplied oxygen tanks in case of power outages and provided filters based on machine usage hours, I found it necessary to have additional filters on hand. Coupled with oxygen face masks, these filters offered an extra layer of protection that made a meaningful difference in air quality and patient safety. The product arrived as expected, fit seamlessly, and performed reliably under extreme conditions. I highly recommend keeping extra filters available during wildfire season or any situation where air quality is compromised.

Purchased unit is light transparent blue in color which allows one to see how dirty. Pic is of original grey unit after > 1000 hours of use indooors but user started to complain of odor or heat. So after installing new clear unit, I tore apart the unit and too a pic of pulled apart filter ' paper' both sides and left part near outlet in place. Notice black-dark side is near outlet, filter side is sort of grey, back side is white. Not shown is 1/4 inch foam pad paper filter sits on with small cutout to allow room inlet air from top to go thru filter to reach exit at bottom. Foam is mainly a spacer and not a filter.

This item is physically the exact size of the manufactures filter including the location of ports. Where this filter goes beyond the manufacturers filter is this one has a clear cover which allows you to see the condition (dirt), of the filter material. Looking into the filter housing, the filtering layers of the item shows multiple layers. The more layers the better the filtration. It is unknown if the manufacturers filter is constructed in the same manner because the manufacturers filter has a solid color cover. I highly recommend this filter due to its "user friendly" design, ease of replacing the filter and reasonable cost.

Fantastic replacement filter. Like it much better than the original one that came with the concentrator. You can actually see the condition of the filter.
