Elsil Drinking Water Purifier

Sorry I bought it for a friend and they are happy with it

This is an excellent product that emsures that the water supplied from the water tank in your caravan/motorhome, reaches you in a good, clean and drinkable state, without any unpleasant tastes, (eg. Chlorine). I have used it for many years, and have been delighted with it. It does all that it says on the carton.

If it works, it’s t’s almost like magic. Going by the description. But how can I tell? I don’t seem to have Legionnaires Disease or Cholera but that’s not really proof. I knocked off a star as the manufacturers don’t provide any evidence of its efficacy. Bacteriological lab test results etc. But just expect us to trust it’s claim to keep tap water safe for 2weeks with no taste. Ive read that it’s used in aeroplane catering. Flipping expensive but maybe worth the cost. If it works!

Did what it said it would do and easy to put in the correct dosage. Delivery was on stated date.

If you're used to tablets and the aftertaste they give, this will be a huge releif and is far more effective. What you don't get is that sure feeling that all the nasty germs have been killed because there is no chemical smell, taste or colour to confirm that, but rest assured it works :)

We've been using this product for over 3 years in our motorhome. Easy to use and cost effective. Makes us feel a lot safer when using water from our onboard tanks NB mainly showers and washing up - we still use bottled water for drinking.

Perfect to treat clean looking water without adding the unpleasant chlorine taste. The only downside is the time you have to wait, which is about 3hrs. I'm happy to accept this for the superior taste, after all if you're organised it can be working as you set up camp / sleep overnight. It's appears to be hydrogen peroxide, and is easy to measure out with the equipment provided. I'd think it would be important to keep cool and in a darker location to prevent it decomposing from hydrogen peroxide into water.

Good product to sterilise or preserve your campervan fresh tank water. Does not add a taste or odour to the water. Bit pricey, price nearly doubled over the last 6 months.
