Q: Can you use rechargeable batteries with this unit

No you cannot use rechargeable. I tried eneloop pro and amazon basics rechargeable batteries and they will not work. This would have been a deal breaker for me but I learned about this issue after the return window.

Q: I just ordered this and I cannot figure out why it only does a small sprinkle and no other squirt type. No mist, no spray. Just a sprinkle. Broke?

Works great, but basically only does a straight shot, no real fine spray adjustment. I just wave my hand a bit.

Q: Has anyone used this for liquid de-icer?

I never have. I would think it would depend on the density of the product- the holes on either end of the tube are not really big. Good idea tho if it works.
