Where's Molly Review: so moving and emotional - This book is very different that the Haunting and Hunting books.. Molly is a tormented child and sold to Francesca ( the one and the same) by her Father! She escapes to save her Sister and the story unfolds .. told from mainly Mollys and Cages POV . Cage is who never forgets her ( Second chance type of story ). The present is long after her abduction. It’s around 8 years after meeting Cage. The story fluctuates between past and present and it flows very nicely. Legion is connected to Zade but Molly works for Legion. It’s a fascinating, gory at times, emotionally charged and her life is so so tragic I felt her deep sadness. H. D. Carlton really gave this woman so much respect and yes there were very spicy scenes but the book drew me into how one woman can overcome , slowly, the worse fear and heartache and bad luck a person could have without giving up. The title is fitting once you get into Cages obsession , not a creepy one but a deep one, with Molly and her “ disappearance “ into the evil world of human slavery. I’m hoping for a sequel because of the phone call at the end. Not quite cliffhanger but maybe more to tell kind of ending. Read the Duet Haunting Adeline first or this won’t have the connection that makes this book a truly remarkable read. Loved it so much! Review: The closure and possible cliff hanger I needed - This was a really entertaining read. It was satisfying to hear about Molly and who she was prior to ending up at Francesca's, how she escaped, and what happened after. I always wondered, like I'm sure most did after learning about her through her journal found by Adaline in Hunting Adaline, about what happened to her and if she ever made it back to her sister. The bond and devotion she had for her little sister due to the toxic home they came from, was so beautiful and sincere. It really made your heart ache for her in the struggles she faced due to the evil other people forced onto her. Who she became through her struggles and journey made you cheer for her self gained strength and happiness. I enjoyed the bouncing back and forth between the past and the present as we walked out where Molly came from and how she got to the present time. Her relationships in business and her personal life and what happened to her little sister Layla. Although this was a spin-off of a Hunting Adaline character, the book very much possessed its own energy and feel that I personally think it gave the book more power, but it did mention Z here and there as you learn the path Molly has chosen for herself. It was a short read that I feel was just enough. Enough story. Enough spice. And the closure I needed in the end.

Where’s Molly
This book was complete perfection. I cried at the end but not a bad cry. Just a - this ending makes me so happy type of cry. You do need to read the Cat and Mouse Duet to understand/appreciate Molly and the world she lives in. We first hear of Molly from Adeline’s time within the sinister clutches of Francesca and Rocco. Addie finds a journal in the floorboards with entries written by a mystery woman named Molly. The journal provided comfort during a very dark chapter of Addie’s imprisonment. It’s very implied that Molly made it out but the question is - Where is Molly? Well in this book - we get those answers. We get her backstory and current life. A blend of her past and present is given throughout the book. Both stories were woven together so well. To put it simply - Molly disappears and a one night fling with the man (Cage) that helped her disappear. Cage hasn’t been able to get her out of his head since that night either. So, 5 years later: Cage is busy doing the usual by helping dispose of the worst of the worst - this leads him to a pig farmer hired by an entity known as ’Legion’. Legion is kind of like Zade - out to get the baddies. Who is this lovely pig farmer hacking away bits and pieces to feed to her lovely pigs - none other than the woman he spent one incredible evening with. Molly. Molly has come back for reasons- one is to do her part in getting rid of the type of people that hurt her and many others like her. This book is very sweet for a dark romance. I love Molly and Cage together so much. I LOVED the ending. Overall this book is more about Molly finding happiness and moving forward from the horrors that she endured. We get to watch Cage bulldoze through her walls and I love that for her. Absolutely loved the book. Spice was great as always.

I bought this book and found that every 2nd page in every chapter was blank, as shown in the video. The missing pages caused there to be entire pages throughout the book to be missing, and parts of the story. Fortunately, the customer service was excellent! They replaced my book immediately sending me a replacement with all of the pages intact. Seller is a 10/10!!! The book keeps to HD Carlton’s style with a gritty, sexy story. I highly recommend reading the first 2 books Haunting Adeline and Hunting Adeline. You can also read the first book Satans Affair but it certainly isn’t necessary. I personally love these 4 books as a collection. HD Carlton has a wonderful writing style that allows for vivid depictions of the story. I am not yet done Where’s Molly but I am enjoying it so far and would not hesitate to give this book a 10/10 even though I haven’t finished yet. All these books come with warning pages that are very accurate, I included the warning page for this book in the pictures. Where’s Molly has an interesting story that will leave you struggling to put the book down, even when its after midnight and you have to work the next day first thing in the morning.

This universe created by H. D. Carlton is one of the best I have ever read! The twists and turns the story takes, and knowing about Molly, from reading haunting and hunting adeline, it really heals my heart to know where this book ends. The surprise at the end made me so confused but happy at the same time hearing about this character, and I cannot wait to see where the story goes!
