Smarter Not Harder Pet Grooming Gloves, Use Your Hands to Conform to Your Pet's Body, Give A Massage While Grooming, Ages (X-Large)

If your pet doesn't mind being brushed my recommendation would be to stick with the brush. These have such an overpowering chemical smell that my cat wouldn't allow me to brush her with them and she LOVES to be brushed. I'm generally not particularly sensitive to the "out of the box" smells that often accompany various products but I have to say that this odor was particularly strong and offensive. I sprinkled some talc powder in them that I use hoping that the scent of "me" would help and that did not improve things either. I may try washing them and if I do so and the smell disappears I'll up the rating on these. As it stands now I've just wasted $18 on a pair of gloves that I'll likely never use.

LOVE THESE!!! My dogs are rescued Shep mix and I get tons of fur from them. These gloves may not be as good as a brush but the brush does NOT allow me to massage them. THAT is what they love. I have them coming to me when they see me put them on. I can massage them, ruffle their fur and then massage them again. They really are a great item. Getting the fur off isn't that hard. I do it in the yard anyway so the fur just flies into the woods for the birds. When I use them a few times I just put them on my hands and use Dawn dish soap with a sponge and wash them. They dry pretty quick and then they are clean for the next time. I really enjoy seeing their reaction when I use them.

Not sure how these gloves had multiple 5 star ratings. Gloves arrived with a hole in one of them, the rubber nubs were falling off and there were several splits in the seems where the rubber meets the material which I’m sure, after multiple uses, would lead to the material separating completely. The only reason they are getting more than one star, is because they seemed to pull hair off of my dog, but the craftsmanship is horrible and these gloves will not last. Returning them promptly.

Work well in removing hair from my cat (which is not easy) and the hair comes off fairly easy from the rubber part of the glove but very hard to get off the material back part.

I use these for my horse. They are especially good for the legs and “nooks and crannies” like behind the ears and around the neck and face. I ordered 3 more pairs on behalf of friends at my barn and they all love them. They make shedding season a bit more bearable!

I have very small (6 1/2 glove size) hands. The mediums were far too big.. Dogs love the gloves! Am very happy for them, and it is easy to groom them with these. They actually come to me when I have gloves on!

They worked alright at first, but became useless after not much use.
