Q: I'm sure I'm missing the obvious but how do you match up shoe sizes with sizes are with Small, Medium, Large, etc... that are in the size chart? Thnx

Please go to the Allen Edmonds website and look at the shoe tree section. There will be a chart called Fitment that you can click on for the correct size shoe tree depending on the WIDTH and SIZE of the shoe. This has worked for me as I have ordered several sets directly from them and they work perfectly. These trees are USA made and excellent quality!

A pair. Two shoe trees for one pair of shoes.

Q: I bought this shoe tree recently and when I opened the box, I realized some small crystalline particles on both of the them. What are those particles?

Wood sap that has dried. It is normal. You could take some really fine sand paper and clean it up.

Q: What size for a men shoe size 12 and a half?

The X-Large should work. I wear a size 13 men's dress shoe and it fits perfectly for me.
