Handy tool for checking E blends
Makes it easy to test and get an accurate ethanol percentage when mixing different blends. Works well, just wish the cap opening was a little larger to pour into. Still a solid and reliable tester.

Good ethanol testing device
I saw this used on the Chickanic YouTube channel and purchased it. It is simple to use, just add water to the indicated level and fill the remainder with the gas being tested, shake vigorously, and let set for several minutes. If the water is above the level it was originally filled to, there was ethanol in in the gas and the new level shows the percentage. This happens because that the ethanol in the gas joins with the water and increases the apparent water level. If you purchase 'ethanol free' gas from a pump that does not have a dedicated hose for that gas, you get whatever was in the hose and pump (up to 1/3 gallon) of non ethanol free gas delivered to your fuel container before the ethanol free gas is delivered.

As advertised
Fill to water line, add fuel to fill line. Shake, let rest a few minutes. Separates out and let's you know the amount of ethanol in your fuel. If you interested in that. Works great

This tester is great if you have a vintage vehicle.
I think this tester is the best thing you can have if you have an old vintage vehicle. generator(s), lawn equipment or anything with a carburetor or throttle body injection with rubber gas lines. With this tester you can tell if the fuel you are purchasing is high quality or very low quality. I tested every gas station in my area and discovered that every station here is selling very low quality gasoline. After removing the ethanol from the fuel, the octane rating is only 84 Octane which is very bad for your engine. Selling gas at this octane rating is illegal. This weekend, I'm driving 30 miles out of my way to purchase 25 gallons of REC 90 gasoline without Ethanol because I'm tired of having to rebuilt or replace my carburetors, fuel lines and spark plugs.

It works good
I bought this so I could test the ethanol free gas that I want to use in my small engines. It works good. Now I can trust my gas station for ethanol, free gas. It cost a dollar more than regular gas so I wanted to make sure I wasn’t being cheated and yes, the price is a little expensive for a plastic bottle, but the piece of mind is worth it.

Fun way to see if your favourite gasoline vendor is up to snuff
1st, I've read reviews from those saying this is a stupid waste of money for what it is. I see those reviewers' points. There's absolutely nothing about this plastic bottle that is worth the cost EXCEPT for the graduation markings on the side, which we ASSUME are accurate. 2nd, the mouth of the bottle is too small to actually fit the nozzle of a gas pump into it, so I had to find a glass bottle with a wide enough mouth for me to pump a few cents of gasoline into while I'm at the pump, at which point I go home and pour that into this plastic bottle along with the measured water, shake, and read where the liquids separate after a few minutes. So, it's EASY to use. I put 4/5 stars for Accuracy because I honestly don't know if it is or not. I'm going on assumption that it is. Even if it's not THAT accurate, I can still use it to measure the level of ethanol across multiple gas stations that I frequent. Value For Money, I gave it 3 stars because after all it is just a plastic bottle with graduation marks on it. Easy To Use, I gave it 4 stars, because if it had a wide enough mouth on it to accept gas station nozzles it would be easily given 5 stars.

La graduación es una etiqueta pegada, si lo manejaran con graduación grabada directo al mismo recipiente te estaría mejor..

Fait son boulot mais prix excessif

Simple but effective. Provides the exact percentage of available ethanol (corrosive alcohol) in gasoline so that preventive and neutralizing measures can be taken to protect gasoline-powered equipment.

Thanks to Amazon I got my money back otherwise it would have been £25 down the drain. Some Einstein at their warehouse decided to put an adhesive product sticker right over the read off label which itself is a VERY poorly adhered sticker onto what is a VERY poor quality plastic bottle. Seriously You are better off just getting a 100ml glass measuring cylinder, the type used in school chemistry labs, and using one of those. I reported this to the seller and whilst they apologised there was no offer of a replacement or refund so once again thanks Amazon.

Seems expensive for what it is..I’m quite sure you could make one of these yourself but it would be necessary to have a good quality bottle and a way to calculate the ratio and get it marked on the bottle: Short version is this works well , fast and accurate. I’m amazed at the difference in premium gasoline and regular!!
