World of Warcraft: The Official Tarot Deck and Guidebook Cards – December 10, 2024

This is a large and very high-quality Tarot deck. Comes in a very sturdy box which feels quite heavy in the hand. This is not your average Tarot deck! the book/booklet is inside the box and has dimensions larger than the cards, is in beautiful full color, and has some basic introductory material and a reading for every card both Upright and Reversed. The booklet is 128 pages long with a double spread for each major arcana and a page for each minor arcana card. All cards are shown in color in the booklet.Every card, both major and minor arcana, has unique full-size artwork! All done in the same style which actually looks nicer than the product images show. The color gradients are very smooth and pleasant to look at. The art is surrounded by a shiny gold foil border. The card backs are a smooth matte, but all the central artwork and the four corner marks have a shiny smooth coating selectively applied to them.I ordered this back when it was announced, and it arrived on the day of release (after being delayed once). I wasn't expecting it to be as nice as it is. This would be a fantastic gift for any WoW player or anyone who enjoys fantasy art, whether or not they care much about the Tarot. And the price is amazing for what you get. I just ordered another one to use as a gift (or maybe I'll just keep it as a collectible just in case they go out of print).All the stars. Few things which are under the purview of Blizzard's WoW art team fail to wow, and this is no exception. The use of color and sketch on each card is exquisite. The characters depicted were clearly thoughtfully chosen by someone who cared about knowing Warcraft lore AND the symbolism of each tarot card (including pips). I often found the card-character matches either providing an interesting but accurate view of either the person or the card they were on I hadn't considered before.I bought two; one to keep as a collector's item and one to use for tarot readings. I truly think that anyone looking for a fantasy deck (a la D&D fantasy) would enjoy these cards, even if they weren't into WoW.

For any fan of Warcraft who is a collector, or who also happens to be interested in Tarot Cards, this is an amazing item to add to your collection. The set came sealed in a high quality box, and included an instruction booklet describing the meaning of each card. The quality of the cards themselves is very nice. I was the most excited to view the unique artwork on every card, and I was not disappointed. Each card has a beautiful illustration that any Warcraft fan could appreciate. I’d definitely recommend these cards as a gift or as an item to add to your own collection.

I am SO sick of decks that are just Major Arcana illustrated and the Minors are pips. Fallout, LOtR, and others that I cannot recall right now are all pips. All failures, in my opinion, to do a tarot deck justice. But this one is fully illustrated! I am not even a World of Warcraft fan, and I like this deck. It is RWS based also, which makes for ease of reading. I am wanting to now look into this fandom for information on the characters. They look terrific. Also, I like the pastel pallet of this deck. Very pleasant to look at. I need to study the images some more and I'm looking forward to that. But for now I am very pleased.

I received my deck today and I absolutely love it! The deck came in a nice box, similar to other decks I've gotten. The guidebook that comes with the deck is great, with a full-color image of each card included. The cardstock is very high quality. The card art is absolutely beautiful, and each card has a gold foil border. The art on the card backs resembles the Chronicles cosmology chart, but simplified and fully reversible. The art and the icons in the corners are glossy on a matte background, which has a pretty striking effect when it catches the light.You don't have to be a diehard fan of World of Warcraft to enjoy this deck, but a knowledge of the lore of the game will definitely give you a deeper appreciation of it.The preorder shipping date got pushed back a couple times, but it wasn't anything too outrageous and it was definitely worth the wait. This deck exceeded my hopes and expectations. I would highly recommend it to anyone who's into both WoW and tarot--you will not be disappointed.

I've played World of Warcraft since November 2004, and I collect tarot cards. Because of that I couldn't resist this deck.The art work is beautiful. The card stock is very good quality - sturdy. The included book is of good size to make reading it easier - rather than tiny books that are annoying.Personally, I would have chosen different iconic characters than some of the ones used. I sometimes questioned why some were used and not others.Overall, it is a lovely, very good quality deck. I'd love to have a fun deck, too, using the traditional WoW art work.

I can't praise this deck enough. The quality is superb, the cards are incredible. I've recently started collecting tarot decks mainly for their artwork and this is probably the best addition to my collection yet. It's not another deck in a flimsy cardboard box on typical cardstock. The box alone is so well made, it's absolutely worth the asking price.To start with, it comes with an attached satin ribbon so you don't have to damage the box or the cards over time in order to retrieve your deck, and the whole thing slots nicely together with the guide book. The cards themselves are just beautiful. Gold embossed borders with everyone's favorite characters filling out the major and minor arcana (even some of the characters Blizzard killed off). I admit I wasn't expecting this level of quality, but I was very pleasantly surprised. If you're considering whether or not it's worth buying, definitely do.

The cards are absolutely gorgeous art wise but I have to say hi am disappointed at the Alliance-centricity of them. Not many Horde characters at all in the deck so while my wife did enjoy them it was a bit of a letdown for a Horde fan.
