Axis P3738-PLE Multisensor Panoramic Camera, 4x4K Video Resolution, Indoor and Outdoor Use, 32 MP, IR LED Motion Alert

Disclaimer: We use this camera with Axis Camera station and works incredibly well! Having recently installed the AXIS P3738-PLE in a commercial setting, I can confidently say that this camera system has significantly enhanced our security and monitoring capabilities. The installation process was straightforward, and integrating the system into our existing network was seamless, which is always a plus in a busy commercial environment. The four-channel setup, with each channel capable of 4K resolution at 15 fps, is a game-changer. It allows us to cover extensive areas of our property without compromising on image quality. We can capture both wide-angle views and detailed close-ups, ensuring that no critical spot is missed. The camera's day/night functionality and 360° IR illumination with individually controllable LEDs have been particularly impressive, providing clear, reflection-free footage in various lighting conditions, including complete darkness. One of the features that stood out the most in our application was the camera's Forensic WDR. This has proven invaluable in areas where we have significant contrasts between light and dark, allowing us to capture clear images where other cameras struggled. This level of detail in the footage has greatly aided our security team in monitoring and reviewing incidents. The AXIS P3738-PLE's advanced analytics capabilities have also been a standout feature. Being able to run metadata and AXIS Object Analytics across multiple channels has enhanced our situational awareness. We've set up the system to detect and classify people and vehicles entering predefined areas, which has streamlined our monitoring process and improved our response times to incidents. The ability to count objects and trigger alarms based on specific thresholds has also been beneficial in managing crowd control and restricted area access. Overall, my experience with the AXIS P3738-PLE has been overwhelmingly positive. Its robust feature set, combined with excellent image quality and analytics, has made it an indispensable tool for our commercial security needs. The system has not only met but exceeded our expectations, and I would highly recommend it to any organization looking to upgrade or install a new surveillance system.
