Definitely a great cup! However, if your love one has dementia/alzhiemers, you will have to be quite patient in teaching them to use it and you might have to teach it over and over 🪷... but definitely a Godsent, no more spilling cold water on her face & she CAN do it, it can just take a awhile for them to learn to not take their mouth off the spout after suctioning the fluid up until they've swallowed the water "in their mouth" and let the rest down. What I love is It won't give her so much that she chokes. She scan control how much comes out and no more has to be on thickened fluids.

I purchased the Ehucon dysphagia regulating drinking cup for an elderly family member, and unfortunately, it did not meet expectations at all. The product claims to help with controlled drinking and swallowing safety, but in reality, it made drinking more difficult and frustrating. The flow regulation is inconsistent—sometimes barely any liquid comes out, and other times too much flows at once, which defeats the purpose of a dysphagia cup. This inconsistency increases the risk of coughing or choking rather than reducing it. The cup itself is awkward to hold, especially for elderly users with arthritis, weakness, or limited hand strength. The lid does not fit securely and tends to loosen, leading to spills. For a product designed specifically for seniors, the ergonomics are poorly thought out. Cleaning is another major issue. The lid and internal components are hard to disassemble and clean thoroughly, which raises hygiene concerns—especially important for elderly or medically vulnerable users. Given the price and its medical-style claims, this cup falls short in both usability and safety. I would not recommend this product for dysphagia patients or elderly individuals and regret purchasing it.

good cup but breaks easily

All the features with this cup is very good. my husband would drink too much liquid , too fast and would strangle. our son found this cup, and it helped sooo much with hubby's drinking. It's expensive but well worth it as it takes care of the problem drinking . It does not leak when knocked over or even dropped on the floor. It does come withe two drinking pieces, one for dring sitting up, the other for a person drinking laying down and still not strangle. Great cup, very helpful for my husband.

One week after last return date, handle broke off of this very expensive cup. Great product, but very disappointed in breakage

For me is not working right.
