Would recommend for any C# dev looking into mobile dev
I would recommend this book for any C# developer either looking to break into cross-platform mobile app development or looking for the next step after having some prior Xamarin experience. Right off the bat, the book helps the reader get started with .NET MAUI and follows up with very useful projects throughout the book. The familiar todo app will help get your feet wet, and then you'll hit the ground running with more basic apps and several advanced apps too. These projects should familiarize you with various UI elements (e.g. CarouselView, CollectionView) and smartphone features (e.g. GPS).Best of all, the book also touches on creating a backend for a game using SignalR (real-time functionality) and (serverless) Azure Functions and deploying to Azure. To wrap things up, the book goes into Machine Learning by walking you through the humorous "Not Hot Dog" app, which will introduce you to the industry-recognized TensorFlow and and .NET specific ML .net.As a .NET developer with game dev experience and growing interest in Machine Learning, I would definitely use a few of the sample apps from this book to inspire my future passion projects. :)

Great .NET MAUI Resource With Advance Topics
This book is a comprehensive guide to building cross-platform apps with .NET MAUI, covering fundamentals to advanced topics. Well-organized projects provide hands-on experience in creating various app types like games, weather, and machine learning, which make the book an excellent resource for .NET developers looking to leverage their skills to build native mobile and desktop apps.

Great Learning Material - NOT For Beginners
This is a really great resource for any .NET developer interested in learning how to put MAUI to work. It covers the general uses of MAUI very well: proper dependency injection, basics with a SQLite database, API consumption, Blazor hybrid, machine learning and more. The projects are well led, and are accompanied with access to the source code repositories. Among the basics that stick out, learning how to utilize Location Services was a really good inclusion with broad applications. Another really nice chapter to look at is the conversion from Xamarin.Forms to MAUI, especially since it covers the .NET Upgrade Assistant. It is definitely not a book for beginners, to .NET or programming in general. The complexity of the implementations progresses as you go through the book, but the advanced concepts take a fairly big jump upwards. An inclusion of Lottie animations would definitely be a welcome addition to the book, hopefully in a future edition!
