Al Ajwa Dates 400g No 1 Quality Dates imported from Saudi Arabia with AL-NOORA GIFT WRAP PACK

I've loved dates for decades now, but that love reached new heights when a Kuwaiti friend gave me boxes of dates from Saudi Arabia. Since then I've been looking for that same quality again, and I found it here. The flavor of these dates is off the charts, like honeyed fruit. If you like dates, you'll like these. I also enjoy mincing them and adding them to slow-cooker oatmeal, they're perfect for baking, and great on cereal. Unlike some types of dates (Medjool for example) these aren't as soft or wet, which makes them ideal for cooking as well. Still, I went through about 2/3rds of the first box just snacking on them.

I love these dates, very tasty. Last time I bought from Costprice I got 2 boxes for $23.99. I clicked on buy again and my error, I did not check the quantity, assuming buy again meant buy the same quantity again. I would not pay $23.99 for one box as good as they are. I will not make that mistake again and if the price is now $23.99 for on box I will not buy them.

These dates are terribly dry, and very old. Some of them even look like small pieces are missing from them. I used to buy this kind of dates more than a year ago. Bought it several times. What I received now have the same packaging, same origin, except under a different brand name, and different color design of the paper on top of the lid of the container. In the past, they were ALWAYS very fresh, and absolutely delicious -- and half the price of this one. I thought maybe the same company was selling them now under a different name (at double price), so I expected the same amazing quality. But these current dates are horrible. They are going into the trash. What a disappointment.
