Can i use this with a teleprompter by flipping the hdmi display

It seems so, product website says MD-HX has "Horizontal and/or Vertical image flipping via the built in scaler". I haven't tried flipping; I use it to upscale 720p screen recordings to Atem Television Studio HD master running 1080p

Does this upscales video input say from 1080i to 1080p?

Yes, it will. There is a scaling/output format menu with 28 different outputs, including 3G 1080p60. You will see al output formats in the manual on the manufacturer's website. Hope this helps.-

Can this have 2 computer inputs and output them both as well at the same time?
