Updated comment - it is now 2023 and this pool is still going strong. They did replace the filter/pump for a stronger one and it was the smart thing to do for their family. This pool has this far been one of my best purchases. I'll update in another 5 years :) --We purchased this pool in 2018 and it has been amazing for our needs. It went up easily and was a good size for the grandkids who ranged in age from 15 to 5, as long as they took turns with diving and thrashing around. When the two teens weren't in the pool, it was perfect for the other 3 for playing and swimming. That's Nana's fault and not the pool's as I should have gotten a larger pool!The quality of the pool is quite good as it held up just fine to all of their playing and horsing around. No scratches, no tears, and the bars didn't bend. My one suggestion with this pool is that the motor for the skimmer/filter isn't very strong. You're going to want to invest in a better mower or buy extra chemicals and a net to keep it clean. I consider that kind of maintenance in the ordinary scope of things, which is why I didn't ding the review for it. If you have a pool in a grassy yard, even with a tarp and bathmats at the ladder, you're going to get grass in the pool. Multiply that times 5 kids and you can understand why the enclosed pump couldn't keep up. If you only have a couple of people who are going to be more aware of grass on their feet or legs, then the pump that comes with it may suit your needs just fine.All in all, we've been really happy with it. I would purchase it again, and may do it anyway just so that the teens have their own pool.

Loving this pool!! Perfect size for our small backyard, any bigger would've been too big. I didn't level my ground , just played a 12'x12' tarp down directly on the grass and set up. Its not 100% level but as long as it's not more than an inch or so, you should be totally fine. That was my biggest worry. Setup took a couple of hours. The rods were easy to get in.... the pins on the other hand were difficult , I suggest putting on some garden gloves to pop those pins in. Took a really long time to fill and I was impatient. Pump setup directions were hard to understand for me, I found an easy video online. Leave 8 inches from the top because I overfilled and the pump started overflowing. They should make that part of the directions bigger!! For my needs, I think the pump is great, wil not be upgrading. You will need to get chlorine tablets and a little floater as well as a ladder (found on Amaxon for $25). I also had to purchase some pool shock and used 1/4 cup as well as 9 tspn of Ph reducer because my water was yellow-ish out of the hose. Have had it up for 3 days so far and I absolutely love it!!! Great purchase!!

This pool is perfect for my four-year-old granddaughter and her two sisters. At 33 inches deep they can swim in fact she taught her self to go underwater since we’ve had this. I find the filters fine and I didn’t need a bigger one. At the end of the season will take it down and put it up again next year and then when she’s six I’m gonna get a 42“ x 15‘ one it’s well worth the money they have so much fun and they enjoy it morning noon and night. The adults enjoy it to it’s been a delight this hot summer and it really wasn’t hard to assemble I didn’t do it but my daughters husband did it in an hour.

I grew up in an area that was dismissive of above-ground pools. I never thought I'd own one.But that was a place with easy access to the ocean and fresh water lakes and ponds. I'm living in an area that has nothing like that. Huge municipal pools that aren't relaxing or easy to access and enjoy.I gave in and ordered this. It was simple to set up. I have the 12' round, 33" high version. If you have little people, they will be able to "swim" in this. For full sized adults, this is a dunking/floating oasis. I cannot believe how much we are enjoying this dumb thing.I recommend it wholeheartedly. Now, for the useful facts:1. We did not level the area. It's relatively level, but clearly not perfectly so. If it makes it through this season, I will put more effort into leveling for next year.2. Absolutely put down a ground cover before construction.3. We filled it with our municipal water (unlike my neighbors, I do not irrigate my yard, so we probably still used less than they do for that month). Never having owned a pool I had zero idea of how to start it up (my husband DID grow up with a pool but was no help). I suggest finding a guide for pool setup, because I got lucky in balancing my chemicals.4. In other reviews, many people recommend getting a larger filter than comes with the pool. I did do that, but because I ordered the incorrect set of adapters I got it up and running with the included filter. We have found this to be sufficient, but we have adults that get in and sit in floating recliners. No one is peeing or anything else in there. You may very much need this if you have lots of little people and guests in and out.5. This pool has only the skimmer that pulls water through the filter. That means that you have to buy an adapter for any vacuum you purchase. This adapter will fit into the skimmer and you'll hook up your vacuum hose to it.6. I couldn't find a ladder that would be delivered until a month after I got the pool. I figured I'd make something work. As it turns out, most men can step directly into this, and a small step stool outside of the pool was plenty to make getting in and out comfortable for the smaller ladies. If you're all adults, you will not need a pool ladder. Get one for kids.We think this is an excellent return on investment.
