Very good SATA to USB adapter
I've transferred hundreds of gigabytes of data between various 2.5 inch SDDs and HDDs using this adapter and the performance has been very good. There is a slightly excessive blue LED indicator light on the SATA connector which I think I may tape over to minimise the flashing but otherwise I can easily recommend this, it works great.

SIMOLE USB TO Hardruce/SSD Adapter
This basic USB to hard drive adapter is compact and lightweight, making it highly portable. The build quality is generally decent for the price, whicj seems to be made from durable plastic. It includes a USB connector on one end and SATA connector on the other end to support Solid State Drives. Most of these adapters are compatible with 2.5" and 3.5" SATA hard drives and SSDs, and this is adapter is no exception. These are plug and play straight out of the box, usuall work with both Windows and Mac operating systems without requiring additional drivers, I'm using WINDOWS 11 as no addition drivers for comparison. As mentioned above these adapters are plug-and-play, meaning they can be used right out of the box without any complicated setup. Simply connect the hard drive to the adapter, plug the USB into your computer, and the drive should be recognized immediately. In terms of performance, it's generally good for standard data transfer tasks. USB 3.0 models offer faster transfer speeds compared to USB 2.0 models, making them suitable for larger file transfers and backups. I havnt got EXACT numbers to compare it, with that said, this adapter was used for one purpose...to copy one operating system, HDD, to an SSD...which took around 1h.15ishLastly, this adapter provides you with a small but useful LED indicator for power and activity. This is incredibly useful to your eye, in the event that you may need tronleshooting, Light ON would indicate its not a problem with the adapter, light OFF would inidicate that it could be, with that said, use common sense. This can be useful depending on your specific needs**Pros:**- Affordable and readily available.- Easy to use with plug-and-play functionality.- Supports a variety of hard drives (SATA, SSD).- Portable and lightweight.**Cons:**- Build quality may vary, you pay for what you get.ConclusionA simple USB to hard drive adapter is an essential tool for anyone needing to access data from old hard drives or performing occasional backups. It offers a cost-effective and convenient solution, though it may not match the performance of more advanced docking stations or enclosures.

Good value SSD
Works perfectly and easy to install. This would make a great upgrade for anyone with an older sata platter based drive. It's 2.5inch size means it can happily be installed into most laptops and provide silent operation. The speed increase can be dramatic if coming from an old drive. So far I've bought three of these for this purpose and feel this model represents the best "bang for buck" compromise of speed and capacity.

Not amazed by formatting speed but I think it will do the job.
This drive is a bit strange. With small files benchmark it seems to have a bit of a struggle creating sessions for new files - I think. It kind of winds up a bit long to process small bits. They are advertising it as 1TB Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) - 2.5" SATA III (6Gb/s), Up to 540MB/s Read and 500MB/s Write SpeedsThe benchmark shows maximum: Read 530MB/s but the write is a bit concerning since it's about 10% slower to the advertised: 458MB/s - not 500.I did a full format and it took ages to do it which is again - a bit too long for what others are reporting online. It took me about 4 hours to process the format. People say about 2 hours it should be so... not entirely trusting this drive. Time will show the reliability. Also it came with the plastic box opened - the seal was peeled off and it has someone's fingerprints on it - not the best start.

Works with no issues.
I bought this due to having a spare 2.5 inch hard drive that I wanted to use for ps5. It works with out issues and doesn't need any external power. Just the single usb. In my use it doesn't heat up and hasn't ever crashed. The speed is good as well as I've used this to store ps4 games externally on ps5 and haven't noticed and slow speeds. If you're looking for a cheap way to connect your 2.5 inch hard drive. Buy this.

Great for the price.
I had an old, dead HP laptop and I wanted to check if there was anything important left on the hard drive - pictures, documents etc. Because it was old it used old-fashioned screws rather than obscure clips, glue etc so removing the hard drive was simplicity itself.I plugged it into the adaptor then plugged it into my current laptop. Worked first time! I retrieved a couple of documents and some photos but, other than that there was nothing of value. For less than £5 it was well worth it and, if I want to I can use the old drive for portable storage. Win, win!

Three out of eleven Integral SSDs failed within three years. No data recovery.
I have bought 11 of these drives over the past 3 years and three - yes three units - units have failed. A mixture of 480 and 980GB. All were sent back to Integral who failed to recover any data from any of the drives. The drives were being used by different people in different PCs. A very high failure rate. I am now having to change all the Integral drives to other makes. I cannot risk any more drives failing and not being able to recover any data. Very poor.
