Game-Changing Paint Protection - Worth Every Penny!
I'm amazed at how effective Adam's Iron Remover is at protecting my car's finish. The new formulation (released June 2019) is a significant improvement over similar products I've tried. What sets this product apart is its ability to remove iron particles from your paint without any mechanical scrubbing - just spray and watch the magic happen! The science behind it is fascinating - when you apply it, the solution turns purple as it reacts with iron contamination, giving you a visual indicator that it's working. It's incredibly satisfying to actually see the harmful fallout being removed from your paint. Unlike clay bars that only handle surface contaminants, this product gets deep into the paint to remove embedded iron particles. One of the biggest improvements in this new formula is the reduced smell. If you've used other iron removers, you know they can be pretty overwhelming, but Adam's has managed to make this much more pleasant to work with. It's also pH neutral and acid-free, so you can feel confident using it on your clear coat or single-stage paint. Just remember to avoid getting it on trim and metallic surfaces. For best results, simply rinse your car first, then spray this on any painted surface (works great on wheels too!). The orange-colored formula makes it easy to see where you've applied it, and it activates quickly on contact. The fact that it's made in the USA and comes with a 110% satisfaction guarantee just adds to my confidence in the product. This has become an essential part of my detailing routine. For anyone serious about protecting their vehicle's finish from iron contamination, this product is absolutely worth the investment.

Works great
This is great for cleaning tarnished metal and removing old bluing. Obviously works well on brake dust. Change to a purple color and smells pretty good.

Adams Iron remover WORKS!!
Adams Iron remover works amazingly! I was skeptical, like most things you just never know. It starts working the minute it hits the rust. Black slime starts dripping off, as far as a protective coating? Time will tell but it does work and the chemical smell isn’t that bad at all. Very pleased and I’m buying more!

Eats the rust
Four Stars: A Must-Have for Deep Decontamination—Just Don’t Skip the Gloves I’ve been using Adam’s Iron Remover for a few months now, mostly on my RV wheels and lower panels that pick up a ton of brake dust and road grime during Florida travel. It’s earned a solid four stars—not because it’s perfect, but because it’s one of the few products that actually does what it promises with visible results. 🧪 What stands out: • Instant reaction: Spray it on and watch the purple streaks bloom as it dissolves iron particles. It’s oddly satisfying and lets you see exactly where it’s working. • Great prep for detailing: I use it before claying or polishing, and it leaves the surface noticeably smoother and cleaner. It’s especially effective on wheels and trim that get hammered by road debris. • Easy to apply: The spray bottle is sturdy and distributes evenly. I’ve used it with a pump sprayer for larger areas, and it saves time and effort. 😬 What to be cautious about: • The smell is intense: Think sulfur meets metal shop. It’s tolerable outdoors, but indoors or in enclosed spaces, it’s a bit much. • Protective gear is a must: Gloves, eye protection, and ideally a mask. It’s a strong chemical, and I’ve had mild irritation when I got careless. • Don’t rush the rinse: Let it dwell for a few minutes, but don’t let it dry—especially on sensitive finishes. It can stain if left too long. 🎯 Final verdict: Adam’s Iron Remover is a powerful tool for serious detailers or anyone dealing with stubborn brake dust and embedded contaminants. It’s not a casual cleaner—it’s a chemical workhorse that demands respect. Use it right, and it’ll reward you with a cleaner, smoother surface that’s ready for polishing or coating. Just hold your nose and suit up.

Great quality!
A high quality product that gets the job done. I prefer Gliptone iron remover but Adam's iron remover still provided great results for half the price.

Best Iron remover by price so far
It does what all iron removes do melt embedded particles before or after claying. Spray on, let it sit, and bleed purple, then wash off with rinse or rinse with contact wash to remove all the staining. From my usage, all iron removers do the same job. The only difference is how bad the smell is when using the product. This one is diluted with an orange scent which is not strong enough to mask all of the nasty smell from iron removers, but it is way better than ones without any scent such as Carpro iron remover which made me want to hurl when I first used it. I would give this 5 stars if this was cheaper to buy in bulk such as their 5-gallon when it was on sale and with amazon prime so no shipping cost as the buyer. If their mega foam had prime shipping then it would be a good deal. I couldn't find any other brands that sell iron remover for less. It works well on all exterior surfaces of the car including wheels, brakes, and tires. It might cause some rusting on the metal brake rotors but those will come off when braking so no worries. Also, don't use it on damaged surfaces because iron remover is an acid. 3 Stars because the price is still steep for 1-gallon and 5-gallon (buy them in gallon or 5-gallon size when on sale, then use ur own spray bottle instead of their overprice small bottle versions). Another star was lost because of the smell which is not as horrific as Carpro iron x. Iron remover should only really be used when prepping your vehicle for ceramic coating or some other intensive application. Iron remover shouldn't be used in every car wash and only use when preparing a coating over the vehicle. So a gallon or 5 gallons will last you years if you DIY and not a business.

The product worked just as described and removed all my rust stains on the car and on my Render brick fence (from lawn weed and feed). One bottle just covers car but be very careful near rubber and plastic trims this destroyed my spoiler rubber trim. It does take a few goes on old or very bad stains but with patience you will get them all out. My second bottle came broken which was a bit of a bummer but Amazon fixing that up, great service.
