Got this cable instead of a Cat7 because it is with in a dollar price wise, and it is rated for 40Gbps and so is future proof. It offers a very high level of build quality, IMO. I currently have it running to my Xfinity gateway from a 10Gbps uplink port on my switch and am getting the full 10Gbps connection speed between the two, as reported by the Xfinity gateway management web-portal. Couldn't ask for more, really.

I have always trusted and purchased the CableMatters brand. These cables are no exception. They are built like a tank with high quality ends and thick cable. My only complaint would be how thick and stiff they are. However, this is to be expected for Cat8 cables. They are great. You can't go wrong. Well worth the very reasonable price. Stick with the name brand like these.

Great cables! I replaced an old CAT5 cable with one of these and discovered that the CAT5 cable was defective! My home internet is Gigabit speed but the CAT5 cable was only delivering 90Mbps. After switching to this CAT8 cable I was getting 940Mbps to my switch! They’re very well made cables.

I originally had cat 5 cables connecting my router and modem but had been noticing a lot of latency issues after read a bunch of posts about internal connections issues and how car 5 cables could be the cause of my problems I decided to go looking for good quality cables that were top of the line and functioned as well as they looked. Lol. I found these the price was awesome and the reviews seemed like they were worth giving it a go. Let me say that these cables are fast and they work great. They have good flexibility and I had no problems swapping them out. I would for sure buy them again!

The cables work as advertised and both are in use in my home.

I needed some shorter cables to just reach from my primary router to my "dumb router" acting as a switch and the other to connect from my 2.5Gbps LAN port to my 2.5Gbps switch that aren't far from my main router. Sure, I didn't need Cat 8 for the speed, but for the brand and the price, I tend to just go with Cat 8 because I can. They are built well, very durable, have great shielding, etc.

It's a good product seams good quality and good speed and I really hope they make ethernet cables cat 8 longer than 10-20-30 meters

Je n’ai pas l’équipement nécessaire pour le tester à de tels débits (seulement 10Gb/s), mais c’est un investissement pour l’avenir proche avec la généralisation du 10Gb/s même en utilisation domestique en remplacement du 1Gb/s actuel. Le câble est assez flexible malgré le blindage et facile à enrouler sans l’abîmer. Les connecteurs sont de qualité, les contacts sont dorés, avec un ergot en plastique souple protégeant le clip de blocage en plastique rigide de la prise, parfois fragile sur certains câbles. Utilisé en remplacement de câbles de génération précédente, il me permet d'utiliser tout le potentiel de mes équipements semi-professionnels. En longueur 0,9m il est parfait pour du brassage ou des raccordements courts (box vers switch et serveurs) sans devoir enrouler le surplus de câble. Il est de plus rétro-compatible avec des débits inférieurs sur un réseau équipé en catégorie 6 par exemple. Un bon choix de produit.
