An Introduction to Developmental Psychology
An excellent book for anybody studying developmental psychology. This is ideal for undergraduate study. It's very easy to read and illustrative so good for both learner types. Please note this is an introduction only and would not be fully appropriate for year 2/3 of your degree, however you could use it to refer back to key theorists and ideology.

Excellent textbook.
It’s hard to do justice to this book with mere words and I can see others have shared photos of the text. I have been studying child psychology for two years and have been using this book for my course since I got it, He book covers every period of childhood from birth to adulthood with the key psycho-social development periods explored in detail. It also looks at different developments such as autism and how this manifests itself as th child grows. Set out in clear and easy to follow chapters with text boxes where an issue needs further exploration and information. Key psychological tests which have been performed over the years looked at in more detail to show how theories have developed over time. Fabulous book for all students of child psychology,

Come as you are
Although this is not the type of book I'll read from cover to cover, the content is extremely fascinating. As a foster carer, there are sections in here that are particularly relevant, especially regarding attachment types and the effects of drug taking during pregnancy. Probably a book that all parents should have access to, as it offers a lot of insight into why your children behave how they do. This book will be a constant source of reference until the pages are torn and dog-eared. Highly recommended.

Good book. Thoughtful layout aids learning
I have taken 20 photos. Sometimes not all get published so please bear with me if some are missing. I will try to remedy it. I really like the layout of this book. Each chapter follows the same format: The first page is coloured blue, and contains the Key Terms for that chapter (photo 1) The second page is the chapter outline (photo 2) The third page is a colour-coded overview (photo 3) Photo 4 shows how the chapter itself then starts The end of each chapter has a “Summary and Conclusions” section, followed by colour-coded sections on “Discussion points” and “Suggestions for further reading” section (photo 5). I have photographed the contents so you can see what the book covers.
