Amazing product, no practice, no idea. But took me 2 seconds to get into my safe after losing the keys... brilliant

Broke after first use all secure pins bent and handle spins when trying to turn and open lock, keys that tighten grub screws rounded off so are now useless.

PROS-if you use them correctly, low-end tubular locks can be opened quite easily-easy to use, once you know how to use themCONS-the instructions are, well, not that helpful. I had to find a video online to help me.NOTES-I got these because I have a low-end home safe with an electronic lock that died (batteries leaked), and I’d misplaced the backup keys. I was getting desperate, and was going to cut the safe open with an angle-grinder, but I saw a recommendation for these on a popular video website by a popular lock-picking person of the legal persuasion, and I was able to open my safe safely.-I also have a few old bike locks whose keys we’ve lost, so these picks will be helpful to open and close them (e.g. to keep my bbq secure in the back yard).-I am _not_ going to use locks with tubular mechanisms for anything important from now on.MY STAR RATINGS:1* substandard, mostly cons2** barely acceptable, cons outweigh the pros3*** meets the basic requirements, cons balance the pros4**** good product, pros outweigh the cons5***** exceptional, all (or almost all) pros

Ordered a set of these before but didn't have much luck with them. I noticed the rubber band/o rings on these are a lot more stronger. I opened the 1st lock up in under 30 seconds, the 2nd lock in under 5 seconds.

The instructions are pretty hopeless but there are online videos that are easy to find and show you how to use them. It's not difficult once you get the idea. After that it's just a case of being patient and practicing and it becomes easier than you might hope to pick a basic tubular lock.It demonstrates how little security that type of lock offers against someone who's determined enough to get past it and has some basic tools that are cheaply available.They're well made and work well, after a bit of practice. Shame about the poor instructions though.
