Not Compatible — Useless Canister for EN417 Devices
At first, I thought this canister was defective — no gas came out when pressing the valve, and none of my EN417-compatible devices (Jetboil, Snow Peak lantern) worked with it. But after contacting support and rechecking the manual, I realized the canister ships empty by design and includes a check valve that prevents accidental discharge. After filling it using a standard EN417-to-EN417 adapter, everything worked perfectly! The build quality is excellent — solid metal construction, leak-proof, and compact enough for minimalist setups.Tip: This product is meant to be refilled manually. Weigh it before and after to confirm it’s full (~30g of butane). Don’t expect gas to come out just by pressing on the valve — it’s a safety feature.Highly recommended for lightweight backpacking and anyone who wants a reusable solution.

A Game Changer
The unit is an excellent way to have a gas stove at an affordable price because you can refill it with cheap butane (the aerosol can gas) instead of using those expensive camping gas cans. While I have refilled camping gas cans before, I am yet to find one that doesn't say 'DO NOT REFILL' on it. I know that is mostly to protect their profit margins but why risk it? This Camping Moon refillable cylinder takes the cost and the risk out of having fuel on hand for your adventures. It is easy to refill; the only downside is the weight but that is easily outdone by the cost savings. 35g will last a couple of days of camping cooking.

Very happy. would buy again.
While I agree that these are not "ultra light" they are ultra durable. In fact I liked them so much that I purchase six one in each size and color.

Compact size. Refillable
I don't do a lot of cold weather camping, so purchasing isobutane can be a bit expensive. Therefore refilling a stove and lantern canister with standard butane makes more sense for me. The cannister isn't cheap, but its durability combined with the lower price of standard butane (compared to disposable cylinders) makes this an economical option in addition to being more environmentally friendly. This small canister pairs well with my Campingmoon lantern a micro stove for a quick overnight, a cuppa joe in the morning, or as a compact emergency option in the back country. Refilling was easy; chilling the cannister in the freezer for a while before filling it makes it easier to draw in the butane, and a scale will tell you how much gas you're putting in. I overfilled it by a few grams (38g vs. 35g) so there may be a bit of extra capacity depending on the temperature. Also, the manual said this weighs 194g, but according to my scale it was 200g even without the lid (205g on) when empty, so there may be a small discrepancy in manufacturing. Regardless, knowing the weight of your cannister will help you keep track of how much fuel is left and help prevent you from overfilling.

Durable, easy to use and great attention to detail
I'm a great fan of the Campingmoon refillable tanks and have been using them extensively for over a year. Extremely well constructed, durable, precision machined and a high attention to detail. The TC-28 (front center) is the perfect size for a small solo mug style camping kit. Able to cook a full mess tin of rice, a side dish, coffee/hot beverage and extra hot water for cleanup on a single fill. For those times you just need to get away and have a nice hot meal, it's an excellent addition to any solo kit.All are equipped with standard 1/4" camera tripod lug for additional support.
