This is not a noise cancellation as such,but the comfort and voice clarity is good. If the noise cancellation was better then would have been a very good choice for the price.

Hasta ahora todo bien. La cancelación de ruido es pasiva y es moderada, ni mala ni excelente. Me han dicho que el micrófono suena igual o parecido a los audífonos que usaba antes para mis videollamadas (shure se215 aonic). Compré los poly porque mis oídos ya dolían después de usar in ear varias horas al día. Ahora me duelen un poco las orejas porque las aplasta un poco, pero supongo que es cosa de acostumbrarme. No suelo usar audífonos de diadema, pero supongo que cualquier modelos aplasta un poco las orejas después de varias horas.

Very well made despite looking like some of the wire is a bit thin. I've used a lower end model of Plantronics at work, and having spent hundreds on pairs before, I could feel the quality of the build. These ones have a mute and volume control on the wire, making it useful when I am gaming or working. I can wear these for many hours without any discomfort, and would highly recommend these for anyone working on a computer and needing a decent set of headphones. I also use them on the train, since the USB-C connector means I can use them with my Android phone.

The Poly 5220 is all you need in a wired headset, if you’re okay with on-ear pads. Two things to be aware of that I didn’t see mentioned anywhere else. 1. Poly Lens has a web based version that can be accessed from any browser without the need to install any software. This is totally optional but gives you the ability to configure all the settings for the headset. These settings are automatically saved to the headset assuming you use the included USB connection with in-line remote. 2. This headset DOES have sidetone on Windows. To change the sidetone volume you must go to Windows Control Panel then Sound then you can see the dedicated Sidetone settings and volume slider there. For some reason the sidetone setting is not found in the Poly Lens web or client versions. The in-line remote control works well. It lights green when a call is engaged and has a separate red light for when mute is engaged. Button feedback tones can be changed in Poly Lens and save to the headset. The mute and call buttons control Microsoft Teams mute and answer/end directly with no lag. Voice clarity is exceptional both ways and makes meetings easier to follow for me coming from more gaming tuned headsets. The hearing safety features you can enable are quite nice to have as well. The headband is the elastic type and is quite comfortable on my 7 3/4 hat sized head. I’m not a huge fan of on-ear pads myself but these are quite plush and light on the ears. Overall I recommend this headset if you want an affordable professional certified headset for work.
