I have a lot of mirror balls for my small events/karaoke company, and this one just doesn't impress me too much mine is clearly a large styrofoam ball with the mirror tiles adhered directly to the surface, which in itself is not necessarily a bad thing. However, the styrofoam used for my ball is uneven and somewhat misshappen. It is not quite actually round and has what appears to be a reaised seam under the mirror tiles, which deforms them silghtly. Still, it is functional, just not particularly attractive although audiences would likely never notice or care, so it's a bit of a nitpick from my own perspective. the hanging ring seems to be well attached and sturdy.

Love the size and quality materials, brings everything as the description. I recommend buy the motor for the ball to spin and lights for better effect

So when I think 16 inches I guess I was thinking more in terms of length not width. But this is a pretty big mirror ball.The glass on it has a glossy look to it but don't be fooled this thing shines brightly when lights up on it and it goes everywhere it does exactly what it's supposed to do.It came boxed up and packaged very well there was no busted glass or pieces falling off of it at all this thing was very well made very well put together.And remember this is just the mirror ball it reflects light and shines it everywhere there's no light inside of it it's just straight mirror glass. And that's basically what a true mirror ball disco ball really is it works off the other lights and this one does just that and this one is 100% perfect for doing so.It's got a nice solid hook to it so you can hang it up and not have to worry about it falling it's put together well like I said even as far as hanging it goes the hanging Hook is just a solid as the entire ball itself and I feel very safe and comfortable with hanging it not having to worry about it falling.Again don't be fooled this thing is super light it's big but there's not much weight to it which makes it easy for transporting carrying even hanging you don't have all that weight on it that's another positive about it another reassurance that it's not going to drop if it's hanging.This is an awesome mirror ball I like it it does exactly what it's supposed to do it's very well made very well put together and during shipping the way they package it was so good that nothing came off no pieces of glass or nothing so they handled it very well when shipping it.I would definitely recommend this one if you're looking for a bigger disco ball mirror ball for whatever occasion this one was certainly do the job for you as far as I'm concerned.

it IS lighter weight than I expected which is great for easier hanging~but it's big!! Definitely not a dinky thing! Proper! The mirrors are small enough so it provides super great full coverage over the whole thing without so many gaps you'd have with the larger mirror pieces. This is so exciting to have. And if you keep the box you can transport it easily/ make a party wherever you want as it's mainly just the perfect size box with some wrapping foam around it. Since it's not so heavy, it's a lot easier to keep protected. I didn't find any damage on mine at all.Love it so much, so glad I ordered this!!

The media could not be loaded. I ordered this Sumono Large 16 inch mirror Disco Ball to add to my existing dual disco ball setup which are the more conventional 12 inch diameter.As you can see, not only is the Sumono ball quite impressive on it's own, it handles being the center stage in a mult-ball setup with flying colors!

Big sized disco ball! Woohoo!It’s glass glued to styrofoam. There are some sections where the glass doesn’t cover the styrofoam. Some of the glass pieces were coming off when my ball arrived, but I pressed them back on, and they seem to have stayed. Hopefully they’ll continue to do so forever.I am disappointed with the amount of broken glass pieces - where the edges have many loose shards of glass that come off in the hand or drop on the floor! That seems like something that would need to be cleaned up before sending the product out. There are many bashed edge mirror pieces on my disco ball. I wouldn’t have minded as much, except for the loose sharp glass pieces.Otherwise it seems sturdy. The hanger is securely in place. The disco ball is large and reflects light well! I think it’s currently expensive for what it is, but I also don’t buy a lot of disco balls to compare it to.
