E9 Pedal steel

Great quality and awesome sound.

Best strings I've ever used in the last 40+ years of playing. They're definitely priced on the high side but last at least twice as long, so that has to be factored in. The 3rd string (.012) DOESN'T break, even after an extended period. No surprise "snap" in the middle of a gig! 🤘🤠👌

For a non-modified Steinberger guitar, these are super easy to put on, they last a while for how much I play. They're bright, to me, and I like the way they feel and sound.

I just want to clarify, the strings that are listed as “C6th” strings are most certainly not C6th strings…. They are the E9th 12/38 strings. D’Adarrio makes 2 different E9th pedal steel sets; 12/38 AND 11/38. The 12/38 are the ones Paul Franklin uses (I do too). The 3rd string is .012 and has better sustain and tone to my ears but YMMV. ANYWAY I ju see wanted to write this in hopes the seller will correct their ad or somebody will save themselves from buying the wrong set.

Love the strings,,,hate the prices.

Standard scale guitar (Jason Becker Kiesle signature) and when strings came in they were too small. Did not reach from the bridge to the headstock. Barely made it to the nut. If these were for something different or specific instrument the title needs to be much more descriptive so same mistake isn't made.

Terrible packaging. Pairs of strings wound together in same pouch. No gauges on the packages. You have to use color chart on the box. Colors are repeated. Strings sounded old and dead when I installed them. I’ll be back to my trusty GHS Boomers.
