easy to understand and well put together
The first part of this review deals with the assembly instructions. I have assembled many things throughout the years. These instructions are very simple, easy to understand and well put together. The nuts and bolts that you need are nicely divided per step on the manual.Secondly, I want to comment on how this inversion table has helped me in the short amount of time I've had it (one week and three days). You should know that I've had back trouble off and on for many years. The last two times I hurt my back, I was in a lot of pain and went to different chiropractors and doctors. A doctor wanted to put me on strong pills which I refused. One chiropractor fed me a whole line crap about how he could help me and I would need to see him twice a week for 8 weeks at an exorbitant cost. One chiropractor did help me greatly but I kept going to him at an as-needed basis. Although I wasn't taking strong pills from a doctor, I had started taking two Aleve a day for the pain, which sometimes helped and other times I couldn't tell the difference. I was also contemplating surgery.A friend who has an inversion table similar to this one told me to get on their inversion table whenever I needed to until I could get my own. I decided to try it, but since I didn't want to impose, I didn't do it very often. The one they have also has the hand brake/lock (that's I what I call it, it probably has an official name to it.). The advantage of the hand brake/lock is that you don't have to pre-set an angle. When you reach the desired angle, you just lock it into place. Then when you're ready to get upright, you loosen the brake and tilt yourself forward with the use of the side bars. It's that simple. The cushions that hold your feet are very, very soft in comparison to my friend's inversion table, too. That's one of the reasons I bought this particular table. One more things, it's also very, very sturdy.I was in a lot of pain before buying this and when I was putting it together, that's why I called a friend to help me put it together. I've been getting on it twice a day for about 2 to 3 minutes each time to a comfortable inclination. The result has been that I'm feeling better and better each day. I have either very little pain or none at all. I'm also able to do sit-ups when I'm inclined which is helping strengthen my core tremendously. Just keep the following in mind. You don't want to overdo it when you first get at inversion table. You can actually hurt yourself or damage your back if you incline all the way back to a vertical position. You can find a lot of advice on this online and on YouTube.Bottom line, if you have back pain, are taking pain pills, going to chiropractors and doctors you're wasting a lot of your money and you're obtaining no long-lasting results. Do yourself a big favor in your life today and buy yourself a good inversion table like this one. I have no regrets on the cost. My only regret is not buying one of these years ago. You'll be more active. Your mood will change, too

excellent all purpose inversion table
I should have gotten an inversion table long ago, but I'm glad I waited until this model was available. I use it twice a day for the last week and a half, first at a 60 degree angle and now fully inverted. It must be good for stress as well as back problems because it is very relaxing to be inverted. I feel a momentary lower back ache when I return to the upright position, but that's probably a good thing. The back cushion is very comfortable. I don't use the lumbar cushion so my spine hangs as straight and natural as possible. I didn't bother installing the cup holder either. The ankles are pretty comfortable with or without shoes but you'll want to wear some kind of pants or socks to cushion above your ankles. There is a trick to using the ankle ratchet handle. It's a little glitchy so it may take a couple attempts to push the button on the end of the handle and tighten the handle and release the button to get it to tightly lock into position above the ankles. Its much more comfortable on the ankles, especially at a steeper inversion angle, when there is no wiggle room for the legs. It's very solid and totally smooth and trivial to use. Just step into and lock the ankles, lean back to reach your desired inversion angle, then lock it. Unlock and pull yourself up using the large handle bars to change angle or return to upright position. It is a heavy box and it took me a couple of hours to assemble myself. It definitely helps to have two people do the assembly. As mentioned by another reviewer, my back was aching after doing the assembly. The hardest part of assembly was in steps 7 and 8. The only blemish was the scratch I made installing the heal holders in step 7. Be sure to squeeze the heal holder brackets tightly so they slide onto the rear rod, then release to let the lock tooth down into the slot. In step 8 you won't be able to slide the top heal holder over the bottom heal holder until you loosen the ratchet handle by pushing the ratchet handle button. The footbar endcaps were loose and one fell off after using, but they just needed to be hammered in properly with your hand.

Love my inversion table, very sturdy.
Purchased as a gift. This inversion table is very easy to put together. Simple to use and it works. After using it a few days the pinch and pain I felt on my hip stopped. Definitely feel the improvement in my back pain after using it on a regular basis for just 15 minutes. I gradually increased the decline in three days I was hanging completely upside down.

Excellent Inversion Table
This inversion table is stable and secure. Easy to use, and I love the lumbar pillow that is moveable. I use it as well as my husband. We can easily adjust the table to our heights and weights. The table has given me immediate relief in my neck that gets all squished up at times. If I mentally relax my body, it relieves my muscles down my back. I had to work up to a longer time on the table, but it has been a great relief for my neck and back.I was really worried about assembling the table, but as long as I read the directions one line at a time, and didn't get a head of myself I was good. Look carefully at the pictures to make sure you have the part on the right way. The directions were well written and the pictures were very helpful.
